In case anyone was wondering, the cone on the chickens head is likely a reference to the Duke of Wellington statue in Glasgow, Scotland. Back in the 80s a traffic cone appeared on the head of the statue which was eventually removed by police however it was shortly replaced with another. This back and forth between the public and police still continues to today, to which the statue is almost never seen without a cone and has become an icon of Glasgow and Scotland more generally.

The reason for the Casino one is that the Casino interior is below the map at that location. There used to be a glitch with the Cayo Perico safe codes setup where sometimes when you left the penthouse, the game would bug out and place you outside at the Noose headquarters.

The giant purple dinosaur is also a reference to the giant dinosaur sculpture/buildings in Cabazon, California. There is a brontosaurus, and a t-rex.There used to be a truck stop/diner just outside, as seen in the movie Pee-Wee's big adventure. The diner is long gone. The dinosaur is also depicted in Fallout: New Vegas.

Ripley is the main character in the Alien franchise and in the second film, an android is introduced named Bishop. This is further supported by the UFO on the building in the video. Bonus Aliens reference: The airport truck that moves planes is also called the Ripley, and it’s real-life counterpart was used in Aliens as the basis for the Colonial Marines APC.

I think they spend too much time making massive non innteractive maps that are just aesthetically pleasing instead of focusing more on making the actual buildings/cities/people more interactive, for as much time as money that goes into making these games they're actually really limited1

@@G00gLe_was_my_idea989 I'd rather have a smaller map that's filled with dense NPCs with buildings you can enter and interact with, what I've seen from the GTA 6 leaks it looks like we're getting to get a more densely populated map with buildings that aren't just for looks but actual interiors that will can explore and hide in. I'm definitely excited because I'm expecting GTA 6 to be for current gen consoles only meaning the game with be sophisticated enough to take advantage of current gen and hopefully good enough that GTA 6 wouldn't be possible on PS4 and Xbox one. Definitely excited because there hasn't been a single GTA game that I didn't enjoy. Happy gaming ✌️

As a NYC resident bro I can tell you #40 the maps arent blank they just highlight where the train tracks are routed so because there are no city train stations outside of LS or inside LSIA it looks blank but its only to show "this where the train will be going....its actually pretty good detail if you look at a nyc subway map the only reason it looks colorful is because of all of the train lines...but areas with no train are kind of blank

#22 ... This is an artifact of most games. There are videos to break this down, but basically most games only render what you are looking at, anything you look away from stops rendering. In many cases movement data is still calculated, but not always. This effect is also visible on the water fountains in GTA, as they will stop working when you are not looking.

I love the attention to detail in GTA5 graphics etc. Hats off to the artists who did them. Great job, guys and gals. Even things like rats sniffing round the garbage or litter in places. One of my favourite things was when a security guy at the marina started getting belligerent. I punched him and he went down like a felled tree. When he got up he said "well, I'm glad we got that sorted out, you'll know better next time", then ran away. Moments like that really help make the game. I can't praise the creators/programmers highly enough.

It just looked like an intelligent signal to him because of it's intensity above the background noise. It wasn't actually a decipherable message. It was just one continuous, unmodulated wave. It was never determined whether it actually came from space or if it was a human signal bouncing off the atmosphere.

A reason for the Casino interior location is because when you enter a property/casino etc. The interiors are actually dotted all over the map, underneath it. This is why some interiors (especially garages) feel bigger than what is actually shown outside.

#28 Actually anchors don't have to touch the seabed (that would require a very large chain) often they can just increase the drag on the hull, So as the wind blows the ship might try to move forwards and the chain get pulled along creating resistance and some amount of restoring force to pull it partly back to where it was. They're not 100% and after extreme winds for long periods of time the ship could need to be relocated but if you're miles offshore being quarter of a mile off from where you first anchored isn't a big deal.

Did you know that there is a glitch in Diamond Casino Heist when you go stealth way, you can actually loot everything in the vault without a timer, the glitch can be done when your friend is using the drill on the vault door, you just jump over the closed vault door by jumping on a drill first

The reason behind the armed guards in #21 is because Rockstar added them in 2014 to tease the cancelled story mode DLC, mostly the Agent Trevor episode but was never removed after rockstar cancelled the DLC and repurposed it for the doomsday heist in 2018.

The number 8 one is about a serial killer in the game. I once saw a video where they would find other clues and eventually a specific area in the map where 8 bodies are covered and underwater
