In this video we'll compare different pairs of similar cars. In each pair there'll be a modded version as well an official rockstar version. We'll do some comparisions to conclude who did better job Rockstar or Modders.

Vigero VL1 is better fitted for GTA V's 2013 year. The new Vigero is best for Online.

The gta campaing cars are much more "tooney" and "cartoon" meanwhile the gta online cars are a lot more realistic and similiar too reality.

wish they also added a 2013 model witht the circle headlights when they added the Camaro. so, 2 versions to fit both generations. Plus it'll go with the 2013 charger, challanger and mustang.

Just a small note for the VW Beetle, on the Rockstar one you noted that the Rear Window was incorrect but they did make them with split windows from 1948-52. They're generally quite desirable over the single solid rear window variants. Doesn't change anything but just a little bit of info

Vigero's tie, beacuse R have 1 point from realism and 1 from tie. Modder's vigero have 1 point from tie and 1 point from tuning. So this is tie, not modder's win.

One think I’ll say about the Mod Vigero is that it really looks like an alternate universe version of the Camaro. A lot of cars rockstar adds don’t fit into their time period, but that Vigero looks like a concept car from 2008-2013, it’s very well made.

6:22 The rear window of the weevil may not match the one on the photo you found but it's actually very close to the famous split window Beetle model, and that's way more desirable these days than the single-windowed one. That probably wouldn't have changed your rating but still, it's important to note that that rear window wasn't just some creative freedom from Rockstar, but is actually based on the real thing.

Rockstar's Penumbra looks way better. The Elegy retro is better too, it resembles the R32 but has a lot more personality. The problem with modders cars is that they look too cartoonish.

I'm sorry but I have to say something, in my opinion, very important In the real soul of the GTA series, the thing isn't about copying a car 1:1 from real life, but to mix them like Rockstar did about most cases in GTA V (for example Benefactor Surrano, which isn't clean copy of Mercedes SLS AMG, but it also have some Jaguar/Aston Martin vibes or Penumbra as a mix of Mitsubishi Eclipse and Audi TT) so I think that giving a point for more realistic appearance of the car is useless, as it's a proof (the thing Rockstar does now since several last updates) of being lazy and not creative enough. In this case, points belong to modders-artists which come after original GTA soul of making unique cars, which don't copy their actual originals IRL

Lol dude is trying to say to rockstar how they should model their cars. This whole mix two cars was always made due to fear of copyright, and the process to become 1:1 is very gradual and you can see signs of they wanting to go this route way back in gta 4.

The modders Prenumbra Retro actually favors an Eagle talon a lot more than it does the 2G Eclipse, of ofcourse R* is straight up an eclipse clone

The VL1 really needs to be in the game but it’s looks are difficult to put on,i don’t like the tail lights but i think it’s on purpose, the car looks like it’s a 2013 R* version of the 2013 SS rather then a 2021-present version of it which would like the ZX probably be more of a 1 to 1 look of the actual car all in all both are great and i love camaros so these are always a win. the VL1 is still a great looking car

Note this: Between Rockstar and Modders, Rockstar has to care more about copyright property, copy-pasting near-exact replicas into their game, with permission of the similarities of the vehicle they wish to bring into the game, hence why they mix body forms, front, and rear, of up to 3 different cars to make 1 in the game (acceptions can apply) Modders don't care much about copyrighting and copy pasting other's properties, so they have more of an advantage over Rockstar. Generally It would be easier to sue Rockstar if they brought in close replicas of IRL cars, and much harder for modders to get sued in general, if it were to be the case.

Here's how they could do cars in the future, or even in GTA 6. Give every car a *_year model_* to go alongside the make and model designations. That way, cars they add don't need to have "Classic" or "GTT" or any other word salad to make it stand out from other models. I'll use the Bravado Buffalo for an example. The TBoGT Buffalo could be considered the "2008" model, where the Buffalo S would be a "2014" model, and the Buffalo STX could be a "2020" model of the Buffalo. That way, they could fit more generations of recurring vehicles into the lineup.

Something similar could be done but with GTA San Andreas. Why do I say it? There are mods that are quite interesting. For example, the civilian version of the Patriot or the civilian version of the Las Venturas police car.

I think Vigero VL1 is better than ZX because design is not 1:1. R* is awesome in their car replicas and we should remember that in GTA universe we see parody of the world including cars. For example: Pfister Comet, Truffade Adder, Obey 9F - these cars is not made as same as real prototypes, but somehow we understand that this is Porsche 911, Bugatti Veyron and Audi R8. And this is one of the hundred things why we love Rockstar Games.

Tbh I love that rockstar is adding cars a lot more realistic to the real versions. However this isn’t anything new. The original vigero tailgater, baller , look incredibly close to the real life versions. Rockstar is just getting better at what they can get away with. Yes it can deemed as “lazy” but rockstar knows the car community has a big following in GTA so I ain’t mad. They also still release cars that are classic gta mix and matches so idk why people get so triggered lol.
