The Vampire Mirror thing is actually caused by the Mirror not even existing. It is literally a transparent panel behind which there is mirrored never-changing copy of the room. If you use free camera or no clip, you can actually see what is behind the panel is actually not solid. Games in the past imitated mirrors by making copies of the surrounding area and pasting them mirrored beneath the "mirror". Some games like GTA SA though did something smarter though.

I had great story progress in gta vc and completed story progress with 100 packages in gta 3. But i accidently deleted both of these games and now i have 100% save files for the games.

13:19 The reason you can't see Tommy's reflection in the mirror is because it's not actually a reflection simulation like we have in modern games. So, basically Tommy is looking through a transparent window into another room that was made to look like the same room, but a horizontally flipped, mirrored version of it. It's just a simplistic illusion many games used to use before anybody developed simulations of reflections. You'd have to have another horizontally flipped, mirrored version of Tommy inside the mirrored version of the room you're in in order for him to appear as a reflection. That secondary version of Tommy would also have to be able to move around synchronously with the actual player's movements. That's essentially what modern reflection simulations do nowadays to get non-stagnant game assets to have their own reflection, which is insanely complex to do.

Vice City, still my all time favorite. I just wish the game map and the story length was larger. Speaking of which, one of my favorite things to do in GTA 3 was kicking people into the water because it caused a whole heap of peds to investigate and kill themselves in the process. 😂

I am 22 years old, almost 23. GTA Vice City and GTA 3 were both huge parts of my childhood; loved them as a kid. I am not still playing but could easily enjoy them again with a simple torrent. I might again after feeling nostalgic. I remember when GTA San Andreas was having commercials on the T.V. and was so hyped. Kids these days specifically kids born in the 2000s and after just wont understand how cool gaming was back in the golden age of GTA and gaming. Its depressing growing up to some extent looking at these videos lol.

Btw, when I played GTAVC almost 15 years ago, one of my classmates told me that there are life-jackets hidden in the yellow houses in the Washington Beach. actually, the mirror one is more of a lack of graphic power reflections were something that took a lot of processing power at that time the solution was to make a copy of the character and put it as a "reflection" but it lagged some times or consumed more than necessary memory. :d
