So I found this badass RockfordFosgate car subwoofer but just the subwoofer, no extra speakers, can I install just the subwoofer in my 2010 Mazda 6 without replacing the speakers?

I have a 2008 (December) Mazda 6 sport which has exactly the same stereo as this one. Will this adaptor work properly with my car? Only asking because the title only mentions 2009 onwards.

Heres a question, the plastic around my gear shift is all scratched up, is there a way to get replacements? and the silver plastic, I'm assuming most polishes would buff those out?
