Another common fault is the Headlight condensation to the point that it damages the electrics and the whole Headlight needs replacing and that is a serious cost.

@@DigiDriftZoneThe N47 and N57 are basically the same thing, except the N47 has 2 cylinders chopped off. All common issues are indentical.

This is really good, but would be good to also know at roughly what mileage or age these things tend to happen? -- I just bought a 2016 520D F10 LCI with 49k miles on the clock, I take it most of this should be too early to worry about? or which issues tend to crop up at this kind of age/mileage?

Little bit of scaremongering in this video really. I've had my F11 for 3 years (525D so same basic engine) and the only things i've had to do to it other than routine services is timing chain (preventative change), gearbox oil change, refit vapour barrier in rear doors. Total expenditure on all 3 of those jobs less than 3K. Not bad for a car on 230k now. Im confident it'll get to 300 without any other major bills

bmw 525 d 204 hp 3.0l f10 2010. Cold start problem. I have replace all glowplugs and rele. It still run hard/humpy when its cold. After about 45 second it okey. Someone with the same problem ???

But it’s a lovely drive unfortunately when i did a test drive it felt like i did drive a Mercedes S class 😂😂😂😂 but it was a BMW so smooth so comfortable it was like those seats was made for my ass to seat in that car
