Yes, as long as Nominator is an Australian, he or she doesn't have to be in Australia

Could you please comment further on a NZ citizen nominator. As far as my understanding for NZ citizens nominator the only requirement is person held a SCV in past which usually they held because they highly technical job nature and frequent travel.

Eligible NZ citizen has to be a kiwi who arrived in Australia prior 2002 and live permanently in Aus

I am still not getting your point if someone moved to Australia from NZ back in 2002 and live in Australia most probably he/she is Australian now so whats the point to put NZ citizen. Could you check the bottom right corner of page 2 or 3 of 1000 nomination form.

@@quickinsights268 It was an old law, which was under a Tasman Agreement between the two nations. Correction of the year, not 2002, but 2001. Great vdo, you got my subscribtion. I ticked a "no" for the question if I have a nominator in my EOI ,thinking of finding one if I actually got the visa invite later. Hope that doesnt lower my chance of getting the UIN or visa invite

when you received invite, you would need a nominator... else visa cannot proceed
