We have lim: x → 0 (sinx - x cos x)/x Use expansion of sin x and cos x So, lim: x → 0 ((x - x^3/3! - x(1 - x^2/2!))/x = lim: x → 0 ( - x^3/3! + x^3/2!))/x = lim: x → 0 ( - x^3/3)/x = lim: x → 0 ( - x^2/3) = 0- always

Sir it should be 0+ then..because as per your solution only, u by mistake have put a minus sign while subtracting (-x^3/3! + x^3/2!) it would give (x^3/3) instead of (-x^3/3)..hence answer would be 0+ always...basically I wanted to know that whether we can blindly put values of both limits as 1 or not which as per your answer is no we cannot put these values directly...we must always check the kind of problem and the sensitivity involved in it...Thank u so much Sir ji...Lots of respect
