Completed Ironman Nice twice which is an amazing but tough day out,perfect for the world champs.Nice is beautiful and the race is well supported which makes for a great atmosphere

I just completed Ironman France Nice and that bike course was one of the most challenging, but scenic views ever. Downhill is very scenic

@@gtn yes and it gave a sense of "worth it" and thank you. Watching GTN and especially the coaching Q&A really helped me prepare. The segment on downhill practice was perfect. 25km of downhill very technical.

I think it's pretty exciting to see the world champs in Nice - we really don't know how this is going to play out. Maybe they should even add in more locations to the rotation!

Back in 2018 I did Ironman Nice and I did cut my toe up on one of those stones. Did hurt everytime i did pedel or run on it. But nice course

Just fyi, the bike course shown here is the ironman france route, which is slightly different from the published world champs route. Not hugely so, but the out and back is in a different place and the second climb is 6 km, not the full 8 km 😊

Complaining about out and back on a highway for the bike course in Kona while this course's run is four times back and forth on the beach promenade seems a little questionable.

The issue with an out and back bike course is drafting and safety regarding the motos. This is not really an issue for the run.

Le parcours run le plus inintéressant et ennuyeux de l ' histoire du triathlon , un comble pour un championnat du monde . Un tracé en aller et retour vers antibes aurait été super , en permettant aux spectateurs et aux coureurs un meilleur suivi de la course , sans la monotonie . Dans les années 80 et 90 , c ' est ce tracé qui était utilisé .
