Maybe I’m wrong but I also think a big factor in why you don’t bet the a4 of spades on turn and instead bet air is because your in position with quite low spr on a double flush draw board which means your opponent can shove quite a lot which means you don’t get to realize the equity of the gutshot while if you bet a total airball and the airball didn’t have equity either way.

It’s probably a combination of that plus the fact you’re already barreling A4-A3 with FD means you don’t win as much on a straight completing card

I'd just give up at the river. A blind vs blind player folding top pair to any value bet seems unlikely..the bluff shove just screams weakness.

The point you made in the last 5 minutes of this video is incredibly informative. I'm def not asking enough questions on why the solver prefers certain actions/combos and don't really end up taking away much from it at all. It's as if my line of thought just goes: Oh I guess my range is supposed to look this this... Interesting. And I move on. Thx for bringing that to my attention. Your software is great value btw.

Q spades combos are not blocking his flusdraws and backdoor flushdraws,so he could have more of that in his flop call range and it is possible to bluff those hands at the turn with big size. and also A4 is not a good hand at the turn since the equity he had on the flop with the gutshot is now lost all of its value because it wont be a nut on the river because when the 3 is comeing on river half of the 3 will make the flushdraws. and you will be not in a good position with the straight against the posible flushes, and it wont be a good card to bluff also without a club or diamond. and also A4 in some cases will win in showdown against some of his diamond flusdraws with what he could call on the flop and river by being checked on the river

It's interesting that a lot of 5x hands are jamming the river. I'm guessing that is because the have good blocker effects for SB calling range? It can't be for value...right?

I wonder how much the GTO response would change on the turn if our opponent always check-calls the flop with KQ, KJ and KT (as I tend to do and our opponent did here)? GTO doesn't seem to worry as much as decent human players about protecting check-calling ranges, which is why against most decent players I think this is an easy check back on the turn.

After flop bet I would've said he has kk/under pair/flush draw. after turn bet I would've said OK good chance he has kk & now maybe a club draw. on the river, without a solid read, I would have given up. BTW I just join your website & it is very nice.

Does bluff catching/bluffing with blockers actually work for you guys? Any time I try it I lose.

I thought that it's common sense to ask and research why the solver does this or does that. :D Basically to simplify our strategies. Nobody can memorize millions of different spots. In the hand (I paused the video while you were showing the hand) I would've overbet the turn and x the riv. Even though I don't think anybody in the SB in real life calls that much junk oop preflop.

Is this BB 3b range? Or BB flat call range? Seems too wide and depolarised..

Hi, if you are using PT4, please select Database -> Export hands. Then select the session you want to export, select “export hands”, save the file, then simply upload that file to GTO Wizard (click the upload button in the top right)

The way people play poker these day's it's almost as if your card's aren't relevant. Because you have an entire range. I need to study more.
