GTR | ARE YOU TRUCKIN? 2023 | Grand Championship

The inaugural season of Are You Truckin' (AYT) began in February of 2023. This is the grand finale featuring the top 4 drivers.
Season 4 | AYT - James Ironbeard was victorious in sudden death over Boxer.
Season 5 | AYT2 - Marco Polo took 1st and Jonabi took 2nd.
Now these 4 drivers are going head-to-head for one last 8-round race to determine the Grand Champion of Are You Truckin? 2023.

First off, I thoroughly enjoyed the after credits train cam footage!! Thanks for that special look at the track including the space underneath the start area, soon to be further developed as those of us following on another platform have seen! When two epically executed seasons conclude there's but one way to cap them off as we saw here today! Each of these four drivers deserves so much respect for their building and racing acumen!! We had a racer who's never in doubt today. A racer who had the speed in earlier attempts, but has now gone all the way to win the trophy. But this is a worthy group as a whole. On a track that always delivers excitement.

TWO "Alex Piz School of Drifting" references this time! Maybe there should be an APSD trophy for the _season's_ best drift. 😁 You should see the crew here at BAKE Racing cheer every time Alex is mentioned. We have a total of four drivers: Baba* (grandfather), Alex (grandson), Kira, and Eliza (granddaughters) - that's where the team name comes from. Maybe I'll find a way to enter all four of us in an upcoming season. I was worried for Marco Polo early on but was thrilled to see him come back to win it all! Great racing all around in this one. * "Baba" comes from Kira, the oldest of the three. When she was learning to talk, we were trying to get her to say "grandpa"and it came out "Baba." It's been Baba ever since. ☺

Not fair Marco Polo is in a class by himself. Great season. Question, is most of your track crafted from the material that you see real-estate signs printed on. So just the starting jump is real HW tracks.

Great question. The track is a combination of many materials: polywall (Home Depot) for the upper section, the drift is that real-estate sign material and it's called coroplast, the runway is the backside of a fiber wall material, and the Scrambler is the front side of the fiber wall. I can't remember the name of it. Go to my playlist and look for Season 3 build. You should get a lot of answers there. Good luck!

It is gravity only. The start is about 6 feet (182 cm) above the floor and the finish line is on the floor.
