Privileged to watch one of the greatest automotive engineers of my lifetime. The opening segment is absolutely brilliant.

Welcome back. Been keeping an eye out for your video. I liked seeing that shop in Japan. I work for a race team but between races we do custom builds and I'm in the middle of a 350z with a rb25det swap. It's a full drift car build. Anyways great to see you back

TKR Garage cheers Brother. I wish I could say it was great to be back, but it was summer and absolutely bloody spectacular in Japan an as you can see, miserable here in my garage. I have some other bits and pieces from Japan both, last month and in March, I might try and put something together.

I live in Florida and it's around 100 degrees Fahrenheit here and rains like a typhoon everyday so I feel your pain on that. Glad your trip was great. Would be awesome to see those clips you have cause I don't think I'll get to see Japan anytime soon. Oh and for my suggestion on the front bumper I would say either a 1996 jdm bumper or a kbd polyurethane bumper. Id stay away from fiberglass or duraflex. Quality usually sucks and they take a lot of work to look nice.

I vote for the 99+ front bar. They look great and when paired with a set of 99+ tail lights really update the car.

About time someone in Oz did a RB conversion in Japan back in the late to mid 2000’s people have do RB engine in the z32 chassis and if you have a manual 300zx you just need a RB bell housing so you can bolt the RB engine to the transmission but you’ll to make mounts to bolt the engine to the crossmember . Because the stock VG30DETT engine is absolute rubbish blown head gasket time .

Although the 99 front is nice, I prefer the 89 front. Alternately, you could try hunting down an Impul 932S front bar. It's almost like a hybrid between the 89 and 99.

Always great buddy, well done :) The RB motors are great, but treat the VG30 well and it will treat you well. I've had Z32's for nearly 18 years now. Never had a major problem. But yeah, they can be tricky to work on. The joys of a V motor lol...

I’m at the same stage, just trying to decide which front bumper to go with as the last piece of the puzzle before paint. Obviously staying away from all of the stingray mouths, but I also don’t like the big dumb smiley face openings. I don’t have a front mount to fill a big opening anyway so I’m leaning toward just sprucing up my stockie.
@westmizer51136 жыл бұрын
the stock one looks great anyhow! just add some form of lower lip and save a little $$

Manly Balls I am fortunate enough to have the local supermarket stock Japanese Asahi cans and I just picked up a 500ml Asahi glass at the Asahi Brewery to match. I do enjoy the Japanese Sapporo cans, but favor the Japanese Kirin Lagers. Thtt said, I can not stand the Australian Kirins. They are bloody terrible.

Just a consideration, by fucking off the air filter in the guard you will have dust and rubbish flying up in your engine bay, it won't really do anything harmful its just whether you want your engine bay to look somewhat presentable
@Intaketv6 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately for the WRX 911, the previous owner hit a kangaroo and the inner guard for the wheel guard is missing because of it. If I can get a hold of one of those and the square blanking plate for the massive hole next to the round hole we might be able to cut down on dirt.
