I wonder if a small metal screen under the vents would help block any debris like small rocks? Thoughts?

Hi, I’m considering those for my white e46. How do you deal with rain getting in from the vents? Car looks exactly like mine but e36 chassis. Love it!

Minimum amount of water gets to the intake, not nearly enough to damage anything. Car sits out in the driveway through rain and has no issues!

can you tell me the distance from the bottom of the grill to front edge of hood? did you mount from under hood or top down?

@@alexkichigin you did not sand the fastening piping before applying the glue =) well, I would use a thinner tool like a dremel there, the nozzles are thinner and it is easier to work with narrow places also carelessly cut out the air holes but this is all nonsense and does not affect the overall work done by you

@@X-Shadow yes those mistakes were made out of me rushing it! The building was closing and did not have enough time. I do agree very sloppy and I plan on redoing it in the future!
