We also have a Subaru stationary engine that will never need an oil change on a pump. Leaks through a crack in the case, thought it may have been the way I mounted it.

Seems odd the engine would get the crack like that. maybe just a casting fault. They sure have a hell of a lot of vibrations though. Through the machine and into the poor old hands. Nothing like the hours of numbness and tingles after a day chipping.

most of these with 13bhp engine and drum takes up to 120mm wood, so this one is pretty poorly designed, this design is more towards the regular 7bhp versions but with a 13bhp engine. and others with 350mm drum inside (This should be 250mm or less) takes up to 15mc wood, basically Twice as big than this and they also just run 13 bhp engines. So your design is more for 7bhp versions, basically someone found a way to get a cheap engine into it and they then buffed it up and sold it for slightly more. either way, you probably got a bad deal if this was 2000 usd or so, you would get one that chips up to 120mm with 13bhp engine for around that price and 150mm at 2500-3000 usd which is also 13 bhp but a bigger drum inside.
