A tool like this or a basin wrench is essential for replacing old faucets on older sinks that are secured with metal nuts that have been on for decades. Not to mention the tight spaces.🔧

I really like mine. Thing works great. The only problem I have is that sometimes the tab basin not get seized. I have broken two of these tools. Also it does not fits all tab basin nuts. Especially the larger ones.

I can not even turn the rusted holding nut. I broke 2 of the Moen basin tool during the process. The crazy nut is not even moved...of course, I used the WD40 and penetrating oil.

Some sinks just need to be completely removed from the countertop in order to cut out rusted nuts and fasteners with a cut off wheel. I work at an old facility and almost always have to remove the sink. In fact, I prefer to remove the sink or countertop just so I don't have to lay under a sink with bloody knuckles and rust crumbs and spider webs getting into my eyes.
