I think you undersold the importance of finding inspiration from the mundane. We can exercise our creative muscles by looking critically at inexpensive mass-produced items and putting our own spin on it. Excellent piece Graham, very well done. Beautiful adaptation sir. I think the 5 degree cuts on the top really sets it off. You’ve taken it from a utility piece to an artistic piece. Did I see a change or addition to your Kapex fence?

If you don’t mind sir can you recommend a first project for a complete bigger ?

I would start with a basic butt joint box, that will get you measuring and cutting accurately. Then move on to a mitred box, then maybe a finger joint box.
