One our old guest sent a card which he bought from Ebay and sent it out to swap under warranty. But due to dust / rust in one area was refused and sent this card to us for further diagnostic and repair.

The most underestimated channel I’ve ever seen. If I was you Eli I would close this channel. Your videos are good no doubt (my day is better when I see new video comes out, can’t wait to watch it). But listen, let’s think. On KZbin you get what ?? about 20$ a month. Patreon brings you another 20$. But you give info on 500$. And this info goes to at least other bigger channels which will use it for there purposes, not mentioning repair guys which will steal your business. You can find most stuff on Aliexpress. But if you have a really new card with new vrms, you can't get any parts without a donor card.

Hi guys, what are the best broken cards to buy for learning repair? i have a multimeter, soldering station and hot air station so i think the basics are covered (also we have a reballing machine in the shop). I work in a laptop repair shop but i mainly do a software related stuff and basic troubleshooting and cleaning. Couple of my colleague are good with electronics so they also help me.

Hi . I do agree with this guy saying open ur own repair shop .You go the knowledge, the time, the instruments,you are smart and u know where to look for problems .You definitely need to repair all my stuff ;DDD for free ....just kidding on the last part .But consider that; alot of people have gaming pc faulty parts they cannot replace , you are just the solution .In my living area there's no repair shop ; the closest one is 500 km away .

I have watched many of your videos trying to learn how you know what is wrong on video cards. I have several cards I purchased to try to fix and can't get past stage one! I wish you would on at least one board take the time to show us why you decided to check this, where to check this and show close ups on the parts to show us how and at what points to check and how you know that part is good and what would tell you it was bad or good and why! You might not want to take the time, but if you keep leaving people behind or talking over our heads, many people will loose interest as they cannot learn anything or get anything out of the videos. If that is your intent for your channel, instead of trying to help people to learn, I'm sorry to have bothered you.

I honestly had no idea that GPUs as powerful as the 1080 came in the mini size. I thought it was limited to the lower end, low power GPUs that got the small PCBs. I had a GTX 1050 Ti mini and it was a great budget card. But I can only imagine the potential for a much more power hungry GPU like a 1080 to be much hotter on such a small package. Are they clocked down at all on the mini sized cards?

What would you do if the graphics card won't let the computer to turn on?! My PC burnt out of overheating, I lost power supply, mobo, gtx 970, SSD, HD and mouse. All my peripherals gone. Now I have new mobo and PSU, when I plug GPU in, the PSU clicks on/off. How to test?

How do I get a hold of you? I have a EVGA 1080ti SC2 Hybrid that needs fixing. Long story short. I live in a converted barn loft and I had a windowless case and a mouse (Yes a mouse got inside my case) pissed on my card and EVGA doesn't want to warranty it. I did take the card apart and cleaned it well but there is rust on some of the pads and missing soldier balls. The DVI is the only thing that works on the card.

Louis Rossman doesn't do authorized repairs... just so you know. His shop amd schematics situation is much like yours. You have to be specifically a Nvidia authorized tech. Idk if that can even happen unless you apply for a job with them.

My mate got a 1080ti off eBay thing was brick on arrival he was waiting on other parts so didn't try it for ages and doesn't think ebay will help I tried for so long to get him to dispute it he finally did but if ebay don't return the money could you have a look at it he tried contacting the company and they said no there not allowed fix it out of warranty or somthing another guy he showed said there no bios on it that the card comes up as unknown or Notting please could you pm if there's anything you could do

Hi, Eli Tech! First of all you are doing grate job with repairs! Can you please point me out here. I have Sapphire R9 380 4Gb ram. This card stared to be unrecognised by the computer. But, if I try to start it by couple of restarts or turn on and of the computer, than it start working computer recognise it. Doing benchmark everting is fine, it sees 4gb of ram and fps is ok too, until I shut down or reset the computer, same problem begin with the graphic want boot again. It will boot after persisting with turning on and off the computer until is recognised. Can you please point me out which part on the graphic card is te problem or couple of them? I wish to try and change parts by myself. If you can make a video pointing this problem or leave comment here. Thank you!
