The GeForce GTX 1080 is possibly the best card they’ve ever made. For me though I’m still torn as I can remember going from a Voodoo 5500 to a GeForce 2 and it was insane. So GeForce 2 or GTX 1080. Tough one.

Seems like they are tied with a slight edge to the 2060 in 1080p, but 1440p has the 1080 winning by a non insignificant margin.

Don't know where you got that conclusion as it seems the slight edge goes to the 1080 by about 5 to 10 percent depending on the game - with some newer games exceling on the 2060.

It depends on what games du you want to play, smth like valorant or rainbow six will be enough for 144fps but with the newest game like cod mw2 with my 1080 I was around 100-120 fps on the beta with graphics on normal

With modern games running with ultra settings is a No Brainer. Since most games nowadays have quality look with lowest settings. Cranking up ultra is only viable if you are running a 4k so you don't missout on the draw distanced details and stuff.

I tried all of it and that is true. Although 1070ti performs better than a original 2060 but its a different story if we talk about dlss. If you ask me, id choose the 2060s because of 160w compared to 180-200w on boost.

Bro I really need help, I recently upgraded my GPU to GTX 1660 super. My game textures resolution looks very blury (Kinda like low Resolution) and have less details. I tried to make all possible changes in Nvidia Control Panel but nothing works! The image only looks like native 1080p if I turn on Sharpen+ filter using screen overlay. Could this be a hardware fault?

@@meeranfakih5808 try uninstalling drivers and download again and turn off taa in game and sit a bit far from screen so the sharpening will be less noticeable , if you factory reset your pc then it can solve your problem 98 percent

i3 10100 16gb ram test, over 90% usage cpu in god war, 4 old cores low freq. 6 and even 8vram not enough for 1440p, look at your wasrzon, even ram is full and goes to freeze unload load textures. 82-84 degree at 1700-1800mhz lol, your gpus are throttling. bottleneck bench

Dlss support and rtx support. Also drivers that are better optimised. Since the rtx 2060 is newer than the 1080 it will receive driver updates for longer. I own a gtx 1080 but I think that the rtx 2060 may soon outperform it in newer titles simply due to better drivers.
