try wgc with fixed framerate and allow tearing. You will notice great improvement in input delay, plus wgc has a little less performance overhead than dxgi

Doesn't LS FRG hard double (or triple/quadruple depending on settings) the internal framerate? Why aren't they in synch? I'm curious how exactly you rate input latency though. When I tried LS FRG on demanding-for-my-card (1050ti) games the input latency was horrible. Then again, I typically play all games with vsynch disabled because even a little input lag annoys me to hell. Where can I find how to configure MSI Afterburner to include LS framegen numbers?

What is input latency and how do you measure it?

i feel the latency slightly improves when you lock the fps cap in nvidia control panel for the individual game (Not Global settings but in Program settings) rather than locking within game menu, if it allows the option. Also its recommended to lock FPS at half your monitors refresh rate BTW if using x2 in lossless scaling menu. so if your monitors refresh rate is 60fps lock came cap at 30 ect. If using the x3 then lock at a 3rd of your monitors refresh rate (probably best for high refresh monitors)

u need to have minimum 30-40 fps for it to work properly and u can also use nvidia reflex on. u also need to limit your fps to the lowest fps u get to get a stable performance.

The game fps must be stable let's say u cap the fps to 40fps your computer need to run the game at the 40fps smoothly and no big frame drop. Now turn off the scaling type , mode to auto and frame generation LSFG 2.1 mode x2 or x3 , Turn on Draw fps if you to see fps in game lastly capture API DXGI done ! press scale , DO NOT USE FULLSCREEN mode use other mode like window borderless ... just open the game or click on the game window and it should be working !

Your latency in LS is based upon the base frame rate before any frames are generated.

In the game you have great iplmentation of FSR 3 and FRAME Generation for all GPUs working great built in the game. I would use 1080p with Low and FSR 3 Quality + FG for 1650.

This software is amazing. I use it with my 3080 even in games that get 100+ fps natively. I set a framerate cap to (almost) half my monitor's refresh rate using RTSS with Nvidia Reflex injection to reduce the added latency. This way I saturate my 170Hz monitor and get a fully stable frametime graph. Other than the minor graphical glitching during rapid camera movement (especially in third person games with detailed environments), it's perfect and feels very smooth because of the framerate cap. An additional benefit is that my 3080 draws less power and maintains higher clock speeds.

You probably didnt do it right. You have scale, need to turn on LSFG 2.0 plus AMD FSR in the LS or in the game, not both or not none of them, you need to choose just one.

the frame generation itself takes GPU processing power. So your fps BEFORE activating frame generation needs to be like 35, then after activating FG it would drop to 30 fps, but then FG will double your fps to 60. You can enable the "performance" option in lossless scaling to reduce the resources FG takes.

With FG + the base FPS locked at 30, games can look good but inputs just feel wrong IMO. Raise the minimum FPS to 40 and things improve so much it's crazy. I'm using LS with my 3060 laptop in CP2077 with Ray Tracing and locking the FPS to 44, I get solid 66 FPS (My monitor is 66 hz), input feels great and I'm getting visual results I shouldn't be having. I think you should have tried CP2077 with medium and you'd had better input results, 1080p high is just too much for a 1650 no matter what.
