Maybe he was comparing it based on availability (or his own test gpu)... because we can't find anything lower than 16 series gpu that are newly available at the market. Basically, we all really should skip old cards, just save and be patient, get the equivalent of rtx 3060 instead, that card is currently positioned towards the new "budget" gpu, based on Steam survey. Or just wait for roughly 2 years to see how RDNA 3 shape things up, because even this gen GPU runs like shit on UE4 games, it's just unacceptable.

The best reason to buy a GTX 1650 super is the size and power, the Super will not need 4 SLOTS just to fit in a mini gaming PC, and it runs games at good settings sipping 102 Watts, not wire melting 200 or 300 watts... GTX 1650 Super delivers cool, quiet gaming with a normal sized gold rated power supply, No need to pay out $$$ a pile of cash to get a 1000W Titanium power supply, and worry about tripping a breaker when you start playing games.

i have this card & i think these tests are OK but not mentioning turning the settings down makes it seem like this review is too harsh. saying that will help some bc not everybody plays games on max settings. good video nonetheless

This video is inaccurate on what sort of fps this card can pull You completely ignored to adjust the settings according to the actual card available vram I got the same card and i get above 70 fps on fh5 In high settings And over 60 fps on rdr2 on df optimized settings Benchmarking everything on max settings Is not really ideal

@@tonipernar8745 its not about getting higher fps Its about maintaining a solid average 1% and 0.1% lows Increasing the graphics will leave stress off the cpu Reducing its load And making the gpu work harder This is how they test cpu performance in games like cs go btw They put everything at the lowest possible settings and resolution and compare them to each other

I have Been playing with the 1650 super for the last 2 years and im happy. You can play most games at 1080p 70 - 110fps on medium -high settings. Great value card!

Toms Hardware brings out the best reason to buy the GTX 1650 Super : Performance Per Watt. The Super runs games well at under 102 Watts... Larger / Newer cards run at 200 watts, 300 watts or more... Meaning you need to buy a much more expensive power supply, and pay that monthly power bill too... Bottom Line: The GTX 1650 deilvers great gaming performance without melting your wallet or your wiring ! :-)

LMAO that makes no sense. RX 6600 delivers much better perfomance at 120W. Also has 8GB of VRAM making it far more futureproof. I have a 1650 Super, it's a terrible choice if you want to play new games let alone future ones. I only play older games so I don't care, and I'll likely get a 6700 XT or a 7800 XT in the future anyways.

I was able to play Baldur's Gate 3 on ultra with few settings on medium like detail distancing and shadows, pretty much maintained 50-60 fps to completion (act 3 was later optimized with patches). Also runs really good with yuzu emulator if you like switch games

Its a budget card so some of the games that u were getting low fps like 24 fps in cyberpunk can just be fixed by lowering settings. Lower the settings on most graphics cards to improve the fps and performance. I have a 1660 super and i had a 1650 at one point really decent budget cards but u just gotta lower the settings thats all.

@@TechArc_ The GTX 1650 Super, 1660, and 1660 Super are relatively low power GPU cards. Tom's Hardware has their game play running at good settings drawing 101.9 watts, 116.5 watts, and 124 watts, repectively. They are also physically smaller cards. So to build a nice cool, quiet mini gaming PC (even portable gaming pc to take along with you) - the 1650s and 1660s are the way to go. They save you money, and are available at near clearence prices. Saving all that cash per month electric bill means having more games, more storage, or just more cash in your pocket. Cool Low Power GPUs are the best !

Pretty good gpu, played Max Payne 3 perfectly, honestly if you play indie games and older titles before 2020, this is all you need to game. You'll get atleast 60 frames on nearly every game usually high settings. Most games these days aren't graphically intensive anyways, there's few games that will put a graphics card to the test. Depending on your monitor, you may be maxed out at 60 fps anyways so the higher framerates are meaningless. You have to make compromises for stuff like Cyberpunk lowering settings but it's still 100% playable and you'll get over 60 fps after adjusting the graphics settings. It's cheap and works, I've had it for years, haven't found a reason to upgrade.

I've been using this since 2020 for my budget setup. This gpu is NOT ideal for modern games. More often than not, you'll experience unstable fps with games from 2015 onward. GTX 1650 Super is pretty much outdated for serious gaming.
