Ehhhh...that Roy didn't look super impressive, honestly. No extended dash dancing, no first-hit nair (which seems to be becoming the standard way of taking stocks in his meta), missing/shortening a lot of conversions...looked pretty unpolished, not sure why he'd pick him.

Mr. R seemed like he didn't really know Roy's options tbh He should've confirmed the falling upair to fair for one and when he was behind Larry for all the jabs, Blazer would've super armored the jabs as well as killed.

roy might not be the best character but Mr R made a lot of mistakes, thats why he lost that, not because Roy. Mr R is not experienced enough in roy for people to be able to say that roy is a terrible pick for him

Roy's a weird character that nobody seems to be able to agree on, he shows up in low tier events but I've also seen multiple top players say he could be a hidden boss. Mr. R's Roy, on the other hand, is something we can all agree looked pretty unpracticed.

At one point ramin was at 110 and fox was at 80 and larry did laggy dair on shield and im 90% sure up smash oos would have hit both sides and killed the fox as a true punish

You don't need to be a good cook to know a chef made a bad meal. It's pretty obvious that Mr. R hasn't practiced Roy enough or was just having a really off day. The matchup isn't nearly as one-sided as Larry made it look.
