最近のイギリス料理は移民の影響でいろんな料理が作られるようになったこともあって、イギリス料理自体も変化を迎えてるらしい。　　（ただしマーマイトは相変わらずというｗ）　あと「ためしてガッテン」のネギ回の時にやってたんだが、ホワイトソースだったと思うが、そこにチーズと大量の青ネギ突っ込んで、食パンに塗って食うというウェールズ地方独特の食い方があって、アレは普通に上手そうだったので試してみたが、アレはイケる。

I first heard this noble song by Dame Clara Butt version, which recorded in 1927 and 1928 at the Empire day. She sung the first sentence as "God's command". And I also remember Robert Newton and Stanley Holloway cried out this tune with their arm in arm each other in 'This Happy Breed'(1944).Thank you.

You know, UK is just short for "United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland"... So it's still Great Britain, they haven't changed from that, they've just added a bit more, like northern Ireland. And they do have this as their anthem, this have been printed and sung since 1745! And on top of that, this have been the national anthem for most of the countries that belonged to the British empire, including Canada, New Zealand, Australia and many more. So read a bit... it's useful...
