I grew up in Japan living in UK with my Spanish boy friend for 2 years, but still my parents keep ignoring him, try not to understand our relationship which makes me so sad. Sometimes I feel lost, don't know how to sort out my family issue on top of the communication issue, normal relationship issue. But your peaceful video encouraged me so much;) Thank you so much! Have a wonderful new year!
Greetings from New York!!!! It's my very first time viewing your channel!! Oh, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! I hope 2020 will bring you guys lots of happiness, good health & lots of fun!! Emy, we have something in common....as far as being a demisexual. It usually easily takes a couple years before I want to be intimate with a guy I'm dating with. I also tell them right away about my "condition" before the first date. It's funny how every guy said that was fine with them but after 6 months or so, most of them start pressuring me. Lol! Having said that, I didn't have many relationships but had a few very long term relationship!(^^) I did get married to one of them...... gazillion years ago! Anyway, it was fun to hear about how you guys met in JAPAN but sympathized the struggle & heartaches of the long distance relationship! I'm glad you made it through all the hardles & finally tied the nuts! I had no idea that marriage wasn't common in Norway. Michael's parents have been a couple all these years but never been married? Wow! I know it's just a paper but I assume the legal system must be different, too? Especially with NOT legally married couple with the kids have more spouse right in case of the death of one partner as far as the government benefits go? I've never been to Norway, so I really don't know much about it, except you guys don't get much sun!(^^)^_^. You're the first KZbinr I subscribed in 2020 & I look forward to learning more about your beautiful country!(^^)^_^ You guys were so cute eating all those ice creams during the talk but I think Japan has the best snacks including the ice cream!(^^)^_^. I LOVE MATCHA ice cream!!(^^)^_^ I don't know how old you are but you're nice, young, good looking, cool couple!(^^)^_^

Hi! Happy new year🎉🎉🎉 Thank you so much for the feedback and kind words. Being demisexual was not easy, but it got easier once I discovered my sexuality! I rarely get the chance to talk to another demi, so I'm happy you shared a little about your experiences😊🌠 And about, Norwegians not marrying each other... it's a little odd for us I guess but there's a bunch of laws that favors them so, despite the fact that they are not legally together they do share custody of their children and they buy properties together so... I'm inclined to think that they live a perfectly normal life more or less similar to married couples🤔😗👍 Anyways, living in New York must be iconic! It is definitely one of my top cities I must go visit in the future list💕🌠🌠 Have an awesome year!

@@Em_iSanchez It was great hearing from you! I think it got easier for me to be demisexual as I got older.... knowing who I was & felt more comfortable under my own skin & as far as the guys who couldn't wait until I was ready, I just felt "Too bad! I guess I wasn't worth waiting for but there are guys out there who'd wait for me!(^^)" The only tough time was when I started liking him & I sort knew I'd eventually want to be intimate with him down the road but I could not tell him I needed a couple more months as I couldn't be 100% sure! Lol! I'm glad Michael didn't pressure you & it worked out better when he didn't have much sexual experiences. (^^) I've seen more videos now, so I know you got an adorable boy, ELI? He's so sweet & got the beautiful blue eyes from his dad! (^^)(^^) His smile is contagious!(^^) I think it's wonderful he's exposed to 3 languages & you're wise to use the native English speakers to teach him to get more precise English accent!(^^) He seemed to enjoy his first lesson & it's beneficial to be able to choose the sex of the teacher, as well as American, British, Australian English, etc. I personally like British English as I love the clear pronunciation!(^^) I took Spanish in college & I'd love to start re-learning to get better at it! I'm jealous of you being fluent in Spanish!! (^^) NYC is a great place to visit for sure! It's always entertaining throughout the year! Christmas time is always beautiful with decorations but as for the climate, we have a long, ugly summer with high humidity. If you don't mind above 80% humidity & 90F degree, you may like our summer as well! Winter is not as cold as your country. We do get some snow but no too much & it's usually between mid 20s to mid 30s... If you are into Broadway shows, you'd love it here! I think entire family can have lots of fun at the beautiful CENTRAL PARK, right in the middle of Manhattan! Nice picnic, playing the balls or reading the books or just relaxing could be great! (^^). Of course, there are plenty of places to shop for everyone! Wonderful museums are worth visiting! Eli may love the Museum of Natural History if he's into the dinosaurs, etc. Well, I hope you enjoy your upcoming weekend! Oh, where is your mom living? Spanish speaking country, right?
