Ingredients:
Rice 1/4th cup
Water 3/4th cup
Jaggery powder 1/2 cup
Water 1/2 cup
Cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
Cashews a few
Ghee 1/4th cup
Method:soak rice for 15 minutes.
Pressure cook for 3 whistles.
Take jaggery in a vessel add equal quantity water. Melt jaggery ,strain it to a kadai. Add in cooked and mashed rice to it. Cook on medium flame until it reaches halwa consistency. Add ghhee at this stage and mix well.Now add cardamom powder and cashews fired in ghee. Add a final dollop of ghee and switch off the flame. Gudanna prasada is ready.
