I didn't know this will happen because I played this stage as Guan Yu. This scene also appears in Mai Castle (a Wu tale) when you defeat him.

I didn’t know this happened in Mai Castle, thanks for the heads up! I played this during Shu Story as edited character, failed to save Guan Yu, and lost the mission. Cool to see rare cutscenes

I wished the original release of dynasty warriors 4 came with the Japanese audio, just like number 3.

I agree, I like switching up the voice acting as well. Even in DW3 it's nice to switch up the english VA even tho its hilarious🤣
