When your ism gets smart Oh, such a mindless With that comment in your eye Do you think that you are hard? Really harder than the other? Man, you’re acting cold If you are not in charge Don’t split your mentality Without thinking twice Your voice has got no reason Now is the time to face your lies Open your eyes, open your mind Proud like a God, don’t pretend to be blind Trapped in yourself, break out instead Beat the machine that works in your head Will you offer me some tricks, If I ever need them? Would you go into that room, If I call ‘em? Do you think that you are better? Really better than the rest? You realize there’s a problem I know that you can give your best Have you ever had a dream? Or is life just a trip? A trip without chances A chance to grow up quick Open your eyes, open your mind Proud like a God, don’t pretend to be blind Trapped in yourself, break out instead Beat the machine that works in your head (…Hide your face forever Dream and search forever Night and night you feel nothing There’s no way outside of my land) Open your eyes, open your mind Proud like a God, don’t pretend to be blind Trapped in yourself, break out instead Beat the machine that works in your head [x2]

One click and I can travel back 20 years. Doc Brown ain't got jack on music. The only side effect is you realize that even though you remember it like it was yesterday, it was decades ago. Back then the world was so different but you can't really remember it changing. That's when you know you're getting old. Kurt Cobain died at 27. We all remember him as 27. If he was alive today he would be 50. Who else just said WTF?

I just recently rediscovered this song via a You Tube short, I probably haven't heard this song in like 25 years! and I even own the damn CD, Lol. It's hard to believe that this song is almost 30 years old and it still sounds so good and holds up. I can't stop listening to it!! This could be released or even re-released today and I think it would be very relevant. There just isn't much or any good music like this in todays music that pulls you in like this does and says listen to me and I'll be stuck in your head for days!.🤘🤘
