This was the first episode of Guaranteed* Audio I've ever listened to and I really enjoyed it! I initially didn't recognize the WGBH logo sound on Mouth Dreams until you mentioned it here and then I was like oh wow, how did I miss that. Also, weighing in as an elder zoomer: the Marilyn Manson rib thing is something people still joke about. So that cultural artifact is still being passed down. Yay?

the new album is the first time in history the fourth thing in any series has been the best imo. Most of the songs in the other three albums took a bit to warm up to, but nearly all of the songs in mouth dreams were instantly classics and id say after a couple dozen listens so far only a couple have really "lost their luster", in the case that theyre not as good as when you first hear them outside of the shock value. neil did incredible work on this new album.
