Hey guys so first thing I wanna say is that it works! But there are some caveats tho... Firstly please get an antivirus on your PC and do a cleanup of files & update your drivers. Once that’s done just follow what he says and you should be good (it may take a while for the 100% to go down at first due to your antivirus doing background stuff or if you have google backup and sync) but once you do that , do a quick restart and wait a bit for those processes to do what they are doing and it’ll drop.... Also thanks to the creator of this video... I’ve had this problem for literally 2 years and tried to fixed it to no avail... -🦁

First, do as said in the video. Even then if you're still unable to solve the problem, then turn off windows defender (because windows defender's sevice msmpeng.exe is using a lot of disk). Hope this helps! And thank you Paul OConnor for this video!

I found Diag track but I noticed the description on mine was "diagnostics tracking service" so that is what I had to disable in Services.msg Dont know if it helps but it apparently doesn't always have the same name...

Yes, my hard drive was having sex with Windows Update too. LOL But it took ages for windows update to finally switch from "Stopping", to "Stopped". I did not disable it. Once stopped, the 100% HD use dropped back down to normal. I then removed recent windows update uploads, and then reloaded them. Everything stayed OK after that.

This is very strange. This worked for me perfectly for awhile now. Now I’m having the 100% issue again. Thank u ! I tried and it worked. At first i thought it didnt because after rebooting my laptop its still at 100%, as I was busy looking for another option for 5mins from youtube, the next time i checked on it, its already running smoothly! Thanks for ur help!
