@@JoseGallego-j6x Just some practice, is all. I can tell you that this wasn't my first take, and I'm still learning to handle him. I'm nowhere close to perfect fighting Serpent, but it's fun to keep trying and improving.

@@primerprime596 I know Bud,my favorite counter for him is Rouge because of her power steal. I have him as a 7* so I try a lot of different counters now I will try my Guardian.

​@@rahulbansal2 There is, but it refreshes when she makes contact with the opponent (this includes hitting them during their Special animation.) She also has a Synergy that automatically pauses the timer during the opponent's Specials.

My fav counter is Kitty. She can just dash while phasing and get hella power from serpents sp1, and is at like no risk of damage.

Not my fault that YJ has ridiculous Energy resistance and basically wins the fight after a single Sp3

Honestly, both are great. I still use my 6* War Machine in some Prowess-heavy fights and when I generally need a tank. Plus War Machine's pre-fights will boost Guardian, so worst-case scenario he's atleast good for that.

@@abdullah_aamer I always stay outside the axe swing hitbox. Takes some practice, but it's easy to do, especially because the way he swings the axe actually creates distance between you and him when against a wall.

That seems like ok counter but not reliable enough with the fight duration, can you test out SP1 -> SP2 rotation with hulkbuster relic? HB relic massively increases shock dmg from sp2.

@@tanzerator56 My Hulkbuster Relic is currently attached to my 7* Guardian, but you're right, Sp1 + Sp2 is enough for a 7* R3 Serpent. I intentionally used a 5* without Relic to demonstrate how safe and reliable Guardian is as a counter.

@@helatard4272 In my most recent video he beats Serpent while staying at full health. Doing that in BGs will give you 45k points guaranteed, which is still really good considering that it's Serpent. I honestly feel good about him in BGs, especially if you also draft a problematic defender to stall the opponent during that round. But yeah, he's probably not a first-line Serpent counter, but this would work really well in AW or Questing.

Meh, Duel fight against a 75k hp serpent doesnt mean anything though(not to mention he took quite a bit of block damage), when in BGs u have to face a 300k minimum hp serpent...

@@himanshuborah117 I couldn't find a Serpent bigger than a Duel 7* R3, and a 6* R4/ R5A or 7* Guardian could easily do this better and quicker. He also doesn't have any Relic on him, with Hulkbuster a 6* can go for Sp1-Sp2 and it'd be enough. Also I should've thrown a Heavy before Sp2 to retain my Armour Up and Perfect Parries. That's a skill issue, not a problem in Guardian.

@@primerprime596 i was specifically talking from the BG pov, in which he will be too slow...yeah he might take him down, but will cost him the entire 2 mins, given enough time couple of champs can take him down, the problem is that in Bgs time is a luxury we dont have much ..

Nah, you were just lucky because The Serpent did not hold till his sp3. If all the AI are willing to throw sp1 or 2, then there is no defenders in the game
