Just wanna say this in defense of Jonathan. Jonathan Majors didn’t plead guilty to the 2 serious charges of intentional assault and aggravated harassment. They threw a reckless assault charge on him all because he supposedly hurt her finger to get his phone back. And it isn’t illegal to use force to retrieve your property in NY. And they gave him the harassment charge in the form of a city ticket because he put his attacker back in the car. The conversation shouldn’t be that he deserves a 2nd chance, it should be how wrongly he’s been treated and doesn’t deserve to miss any opportunities. I really hope his appeal goes well and he’s brought back

I think having multiple kang variants spread out in different universes, they destroy those said universes and defeat heros in that universe. Those heros go to battleworld. I think the reason why the hype wasn't big enough for Kang was because of "Ant-man and The Wasp: Quantumania". Kang was supposedly going to be an even bigger threat than Thanos, yet we didn't really see him do much in the movie. Instead, we got to see him get defeated by ants. This might be an unpopular opinion, but I believe Kang should've killed at least one character in "Ant-man and The Wasp: Quantumania". Which character that should've been is up for debate, but I truly believe he would be more feared if he killed Hope's parents and escaped the quantum realm. Or even killing The Wasp or Ant-Man would've been a crazy ending. Another reason why there was no hype around the character is because he was firstly introduced in the Loki series. Even though I enjoyed and watched all of the episodes, there are lots of marvel fans that don't watch the Disney Plus series because it simply feels like a chore.

I feel like this plot leak is still likely to be somewhat what the plot will be for Doomsday and Secret Wars. The main Avengers team won’t be the only ones fighting Doom and whatever the other henchmen or villains there will be so it’s likely we will be seeing tons of variants (Deadpool, Wolverine, the other Spideys included) in one or both films and I’ll be shocked if they aren’t main characters doing their own side story outside the main MCU storyline.

I'm glad that Kang story is in the bin where it belongs. That has to be the most mundane and tired execution of a villain and storyline I've seen in a while - and as usual it was telling you about everyone but Kang who at best is a spray-on antagonist, who only seems to become that much because there's no current Avengers line up. Be sure that Doom won't be treated like that because Doom now has experienced writers who know who to write a good, memorable story with a strong character arc for the villain, in balance with it's heroes. Majors doesn't deserve to be dumped but he didn't deserve writing so lackluster it seems to be deliberate character sabotage either, nor did the audience - who would have been given an anticlimactic resolution to his character and multiversal chapter. Frankly, I'd rather Kang be on permanent ice than that bs. This is clearly the result of Feige trying to force these low rent Rick and Morty writers in and make them happen, as if they didn't drag the entire brand down single-handedly. Wtf have the last two phases been about? Nevermind that the jokey juvenelia of phase 5 has been emotional whiplash to phase 4 where too many cool characters got killed off almost immediately for no reason. Feige fucked up, and I wish people would put the blame where it really belongs. Kang was first and foremost a victim of shitty writing that he can't be redeemed from. Man got taken out by third tier rando non-Avengers three times out of three. He had zero credibility and threat when Waldron and Loveness were done with him. Here's the thing for me. I never expected them to keep the name of Kang Dynasty for Avengers 5, nor did I expect Kang to be the final villain. We all knew Doctor Doom was arriving one way or another. But what I hate the most about Kang no longer being touched upon because of the excuse of reminding everyone about Johnathan Majors is that I was expecting both Kang and Doom to work together and manipulate the Council of Kangs, and other villains and heroes, in a way. They clearly were setting up Kang to come back as the possible Beyonder, as well as Doom coming into the fray eventually. I expected and still expect Scarlet Witch to be alive with amnesia and being manipulated by Doom, as well as Kang's time travel powers could've given us an army of villains from past movies working together, giving us an MCU version of the Masters of Evil. Namor and the Thunderbolts are also potential allies. The pieces were all and are still there to at least make the best use out of the character of Kang, with or without Majors. So, if they truly have no intention to touch Kang's character again, Marvel has officially lost a major percentage of my respect. It feels like Zack Snyder and WB all over again.

I just hope they cast someone as Kang to explain away Immortus and the other two. Immortus would be so helpful to have for the Xmen story with Bishop meeting him while he’s disguised. If they show us TVA’s files explaining how each variant was taken care of, I’d be okay that way as well. But I’d still like to see the Kang Council taken care of very soon. Just recast him and have them be the villain of an upcoming movie to just deal with it. It could still work out if they recast Kang and kill off the three main variants for one of their next movies, and their deaths could be a setup for a Beyonder character to show up in Doomsday and/or Secret Wars.

My way of thinking about the whole kang to doom switch is as simple as “Loki changed things to try and stop kang killing the multiverse and it was going to collapse no matter what he did so that’s where doom comes in.

I honestly think it was a good setup and one they can return to either with a recasted Kang or end up bringing Majors back after all the dust settles several years from now. Wouldn’t be surprised. Plenty of people are given second chances. They can make up a story as to why he waited to make his moves and start showing other things variants were doing (i.e. Tut handing pharaoh reigns to Apocalypse to jumpstart a mutant storyline for a major X-Men villain) since we are getting a X-Men movie in the next phase.

I think Kang can be brought back after secret wars… still as the main villain…. It would be something to look forward to if we saw a post credit seen at the end of secret wars that majors/kang is watching things on from the outside in

I think I know what marvel is planning, and I think marvel is still going to include kang in the story line be it old or prime kang but I think we might still get kang, they just want the pressure of Kang to go down a little more and be hyped for the next avengers film

They should’ve continued with Kang storyline, just simply recast him with different actor. We know Dooms eventually gonna come into play and play a huge part. Now we got him early.

I truly believe that the storyline with Kang should have stayed because not only doesn’t sound amazing but we fell in love with Kang as the villain and the storyline that was being created
