Guardian Tactical recon 035 or Kershaw Livewire??? 🤔

I have the livewire in magnacut and i love it for all the same reasons you pointed out. The best is the fact that its grippy without being too aggressive in both the handle and the trigger. It slips in and out of concealment with ease and its so light that you forget its there. Thought of getting a guardian tactical to compare them cause i heard that it's also smooth but got 4 more livewires instead lol. Nice video mahalo for sharing.

I’ve owned both and if i were to pick one over the other i would go with the Livewire. I loved my Recon but it rattled more than the Kershaw and had more blade play. Plus the Livewire has better blade material. Both great knives. Both are far better than the Ultratech imo.

Both are great and at some point I’ll probably have multiple of each.. The ultra tech has been the worst OTF I’ve owned so far 😂

Just getting into Otfs and currently have 2 of the Guardian Tactical Recon 035 and an Axial Shift. They both are 100 times better than Microtech especially after I found out what MT was doing to dealers that carried Axial. Want to try a Livewire but at the moment, I'm good with the GT and AS. Thanks for the comparison.

I have an axial shift also and it uses the same trigger as the microtechs (so close I can't tell them apart) but it has smother deployment and is more comfortable in the hand and pocket. After having a bunch of different manufacturers now I won't buy another Microtech

have you gotten the livewire yet? Considering the livewire but the current gen of the Axial shift is tempting? Which do you like better? And does either have decent cutting geometry? JC can chime in

I think the livewire is the absolute best entry otf. EDC perfection. GT & Microtech are better for tactical use.

I like the recon better from here. I break kershaws for some reason but I don’t have a ton of comparative experience. I’d be curious how each holds up over time. Thanks, that’s interesting. My whole life it’s been no auto.

Not sure but all the research I’ve done has it being a fantastic steel.. High levels of carbon and Chromium to make it stainless.. Hopefully it’s as good as the reviews

I carry both lol.. Knives are just like anything else.. You have people who buy the cheapest thing possible and then you have collectors.. Me personally I use all the knives I buy but I am a collector
