Hey guys I’ve been playing this game for a couple months now and I just wanted to give some of my feedback on the game: Definitely take your time playing the game because once you finish all the worlds it gets pretty boring. There are some side stories from previous event though which you can play (I forget when you unlock them). Don’t level up all the heroes you have to the highest you can get them. I did this and then I ended up having to grind for experience to lvl up my team comp because they were so under leveled. Stick to a team you like and just work on them. for anyone wondering my team is sohee[main], karina, bari, elf healer (forgot her name :P I just use her as a place holder tbh) in the game you really only need one healer. Especially during the late game, most enemies can pretty much one shot you so trying to save yourself with two isn’t really needed. Ranged heroes are your best friend and I’d recommend using one as your main because it’s easier to evade enemy attacks. I use sohee because her attack goes through walls, lasts a long time before reloading, reloads quick, and auto attacks(just have to hold down the attack button) on the topic of heroes, if you get a heroes exclusive weapon USE THAT HERO. you’ll regret wasting an exclusive weapon, they make heroes so much stronger and the story so much easier. I have one on karina bari and sohee. When you’re beginning, definitely do some hero summons to get heroes earlier but spend most of your gems on weapon summons. You’ll get most of the two star heroes from the story/world as you complete it and you’ll be given them with them already leveled up a decent amount. Like most gacha games, don’t do single summons. It’s easy to get enough for 10x. Do everything there is to do, coliseum is easy and gives lots of gems, arena is harder and only open at certain times so try to catch it if you can but since you’re a newb I wouldn’t recommend just yet. Buy everything you can from the store. You’ll eventually get the gold back and honestly there’s not much you need to use gold on (could just be me but I have 1.5 mil gold just hanging out) DO RANDOM EVOLUTION or whatever it’s called. Best way of getting exclusive weapons and especially since you’ll have a lot of left over gear. Game is really nice because it gives you both all the heroes and weapons you need for it. Summons are just if you want extra. ALSO!!! I probably should’ve added this at the front but when you’re in the store, spend your purple coins MAINLY on coffee GRINDERS. not coffee, not anything else. First those. They boost your stamina and you’ll definitely need it. Buy 5 to boost your stamina by 1 point(not much ik that’s why I’m telling you cus you’ll be running out of stamina a lot) and it’ll also give you however much is your max stamina to you for free(limit goes up by 1, say your max is 50 stamina, you also get an extra 50 stamina so 100/51 total stamina). Finally, ask for help in chat. Lots of people are willing to help. The chat censorship is HORRIBLE. it deletes your entire comment and doesn’t tell you what it was that they removed your comment for. For example, never say “nig”. Even if it’s in the middle of a word it’ll censor your whole comment and then you have to write it all over again. Example: Knight is the best unit. *you said a bad word popup* now you have to write it again. Kn.ight is the best unit *sent* That’s my only pet peeve. As I said take your time with the game cus it does get quickly boring as you have to wait for new worlds/events to come out and whatnot. Remember to do side story. It’s in the adventure tab and to the right of the screen. some good starter tips: don't fodder or sell 2 / 3 star weapons, you can roll to turn the into potential unique weapons Also, don't spend gems for heroes, you can get almost all of them for free through the story Character strength lies mostly on composition, so tier lists aren't that useful Party buffs are super important late game, and chain skills are super important in general. Also gold / exp rift dungeons are useless, don't do them learnt most of these things from themightybellegar, and they've helped me a lot throughout my playthrough One from myself: always look at your minimap, it shows you hidden pathways that are blocked on screen by leaves/stuff

if you want to be competitive though (PVP/guild raids etc) u will need to use gems to summon cuz that's the only way to get 3* heroes. If just completing all the worlds (story), then yes i feel it's doable with the free 2* heroes they give. 😅

Tbh summoning heroes are better since you get hero Crystal that can be used for limit break, but weapon wise isn't a good investment sometimes. That's just me just play how you want and have fun

Hidden pathways one on map is super important. Useful for 3 star all stages. Also for anyone reading, don’t get upset if you can’t 100% complete a world first try. Sometimes they don’t let you complete the worlds until you finish worlds later in game.

Been playing since the beginning of May(the soft launch from SEA). 3 months into the game, I still love it. Yes the game's story is still in progress. Yes you might just farm while waiting for new content, but its hella worth it. And its better to be played as a afk game after reaching the current endgame. Like opening the game every 12 hours to farm. It helped me avoid getting sick of the game because the coffee limitation helps from stopping players for playing it for too long and worst case, get frustrated and quit. Good game Above average gameplay Good puzzle elements Cool easter eggs and referrences everywhere Community engaged devs 9/10 for me. The only issue is the pvp(arena not the colo) due to lag at some instances. But other than that, its 👌

I really like the game, but if you dont get lucky in gacha (exclusive 5 star weapon for character, by example) then you're sort of screwed... You need a few to be competitive. Even more so, you have no actual chance in Arena unless you literally have one *specific* character with her exclusive weapon, because she is that broken... It is a game that is super reroll dependent for f2p's but realistically,e reroll's take 1 hour+. Idk how to feel about this game beyond just having fun with the story and not coming back to it after that.

Im so glad you are enjoying and actually giving an awesome review for this AWESOME game. I couldnt stop playing yesterday and today in just waiting to be off work to go back and play. This game is a MUST TRY. I have heard some ppl in reddit saying is P2W and others saying is not. BUT, the general reviews about this is that this game, as a PVE game and a side game is an excellent recipe for fun and good time. For more competitive, looks like the game can be a little hard for those that doesnt invest on it. But i dont know since im just enyoing the event, the story, the characters and every singles aspect of the pve content. I beliave this game can be for anybody: hardcore players, casuals, waifus collertors, PVP, etc etc. So far i think this game is amazing. For me, the best so far this year.

Just tip for new player, try this game first untill chapter 3 or so on, and if you like this game and have bad gacha you need to reroll, it's a must, the gacha is kinda shitty, reroll until atleast you get 5* exclusive weapon then you good to go (if you want to chase meta go for bari or marina exclusive weapon).

A great game!! Very very funny, one of the best mobile games of the year!! It's like a mix of a Final Fantasy from SNES I've played years ago (I don't remember the number, but it was great) with Zelda!

im playing in SEA server which 1st releade before global, its fun game and f2p frendly. good story, dont worry about cristal. u will got alot from story, and weekly arena + coloseum

So true. Can I ask what do you use to play Guardian tales? what emulator or whatever? because my guardian tales in LDplayer has alot of things missing like the informations and details of each items and etc.

Princess Connect is the best in terms of duplicates value. it is a big loss for us that FG doesn't review region restricted or non_GB games like Counter: Side, Princess Connect, Time Refrain, etc. dude that would be a dream come true :(

No still not interesting, what makes the 7DS good is the pvp but for most ftp casual like me can't keep up with the units and ended up not doing pvp. That's why I need something to fill that in 😬

FG you gonna be disappointed cuz you won't be able to jump in the game. Most of the time it takes some skill and practice to beat lightning counter. She'll appear in each chapter and even in event story mode.

Looks like a fun little game, on anything but a phone... I'm gonna give it a shot, but I really wish they just make a pc port of it, a proper one, emulators are good for idle stuff, but not the best when you actually have to play a game.
