Where to start, where to start. I could start with the way the beautiful antagonist plays on Remus' self doubt, obviously trying to poke at a sensitive subject, I could talk about how amazingly resilient Remus is in the face of adversity, I could talk about Ernest's spot on dramatic entrance, or I could talk about Logan's exceptional usage of both broad range and precision attacks to achieve his goals. Basically, I love this! I want to know more about how their guards are chosen because of the way Remus phrased his sentence, "I attract people who aren't bound by the same moral code" I need to know more about what he meant regarding that!

I’m listening to this once again and I forgot how much it breaks my heart every time Remus says “They’ll come, even if they didn’t want to, they have to.” What must that feel like for him, to fall back on the fact that they have to come for him and not that they want to. :(

I absolutely LOVE how you portray Remus!!! I swear I say it in every video of yours he’s featured in, but It’s just so good!!! This is another one of those stories that I wish could be continued next time, but it probably wouldn’t fit in with the ships(unless you did another one of all of them, but you probably won’t repeat the same ship twice), specifically I want to know how Roman and Remus reacted afterwards, maybe Remus would apologize to him for saying he was weak for being scared, and Roman would just be glad he was ok? Idk, I just want to know what would happen. What was the stuff their mom did to make Annie(great villain, totally unexpected until the last moment)and the other bandits mad?

Everyone is talking about Remus but I'd like to talk about how obviously Ernest and Logan have been with Remus for a long time, and they didn't think to take turns staying awake to make sure Remus didn't pull a stunt like this. Or to make sure no one snuck in and assassinated him or something right under their noses. They're obviously heavy sleepers if *Remus* can get out of his room without waking them up. (Also I like to think that Ernest woke up around dawn, saw he was missing and was immediately like 'that ******* I thought I told him not to do that' and had to slap Logan awake so they could look for him and they didn't even realise he was kidnapped until a kitchen servant with a guilty conscience blurted it out and immediately got magic killed by Logan)

Hey, Remus can be pretty sneaky if he wants XD You're definitely right that they were meant to keep watch, and I think they were meant to, but at this point in the story it's been weeks of that, and all it took was for the one on watch to slip off to sleep for like, 30 minutes, an hour tops. Perhaps there was even some outside magic involved - there was a rat in the kitchen staff after all, with free reign to slip in whatever she wanted into the food or drinks. I always had so many ideas for this AU that I'll probably never write out fully, but I love talking about it all the same :)

Well if you join my Discord, I've started to compile a bunch of random character facts and world building for this AU, but here's a sneak peek; The four bodyguards - Patton, Virgil, Logan, and Ernest (Janus), all have different kinds of magic. Light manipulation, shadow manipulation, pyrokinesis, and shapeshifting respectively. In this world, almost everyone is born with magic, and it's especially important for those in the castle. However, Roman and Remus were both born without any inherent magical ability, and that's because their mother was also born without any magic, and she is the first ever monarch in the entirety of the land to take the throne without magic.
