This one hurts. We are deep into the MCU reactions now. Sam has never seen them. I was excited for you guys to see her reaction, it was AWESOME!! Well about 2 hours into the reaction, the file was corrupted and it just stopped. We tried everything to recover it to no luck. So we wanted to be genuine and show you what we did still have and then Sam gave the review. So our apologies. Here is the reaction to the ending of Guardians and Sam's review of the movie.

This was my mom’s favorite MCU and superhero movie before she passed away 10 months after it premiered from cancer complications. Not only did she love the movie but she absolutely loved the soundtrack because they were all songs she grew up with. I still can’t watch this movie without breaking down crying because the opening scene when Peter’s mom is in the hospital bed looks far too much like my mom when she was going through chemotherapy and radiation therapy when I was 14. She fought it for 10 years when even the doctors thought she wouldn’t make it that long. Her favorites were Groot and Rocket. I still wish she had lived to see the other 2 films, but I’m happy we got to see this before she passed. So whenever I listen to the soundtrack in the car, and especially to *Redbone’s “Come And Get Your Love”* I think about how we would dance in our seats along with Star Lord in that scene.

Watching these all, and made sure to like this one to support the channel and these reactions. Love that you are keeping her blind as you go through, and don't "lead the witness" with your thoughts or public perception of the movie before she sees it. I know there we as time reel rejects had a corrupted video and they were able to send it to a third party and they were able to recover it. Maybe still an option. Either way, great recovery, and thanks for doing your best to keep an authentic reaction/review regardless.

Sucks about the file corrupting. Would it be possible for the next movies to have a secondary device recording your reactions at the same time? Even if it's from a different angle and lower quality, it can be used as a backup just in case.

This was a perfectly fine one to not have. We all know what the reaction is: laughter. That's what GotG is, a comedy. There is nothing deeper to dig into. It's a comedy. One and done. At least it wasn't something with nuance or a good plot like Civil War or IW. _That_ would have hurt.

Hey man. Big fan! But I just have to ask… you didn’t have a backup? You should always have a backup SD card or something. I am having a hard time understanding and feel bad about how many tech issues you have on the daily. With all the subscribers you have, you can 100% get an intern, who would honestly work for free. As a tech guy, I just think the constant daily tech issues are so easily fixable, and you are limiting yourself by trying to figure it out all by yourself. You have a following. You should use it! The tech issues make your channel seem less professional and more amateur. And I’m saying this as a huge fan

It sucks that there is not at least an audio backup that you could attempt to splice together a reaction. I know you can record audio directly to a MicroSD card on the Rodecaster Pro II. You can also record it to a USB device. Perhaps that could be a good backup moving forward? THANKS SO MUCH for your efforts, Kristian. I know it's a lot to juggle.
