lol thats kind of funny because arianna's acting experience is pretty much exclusively comedic, even if it was kids comedy

Ahhh, this was also great to re-watch and experience through a fresh set of eyes. Nostalgia. It is mad, how much things we miss, remember or misremember when we rewatch the MCU from the beginning. It has come a long way.
@reelreeviewsdotcom10 сағат бұрын
Going back to Ironman one then going forward to, lets say, Endgame, the tone of the MCU has changed considerably. The colour set (palette), the storytelling, dialogue and humour has evolved and you can definitely tell. This was a simpler time with a smaller budget. This is what Deadpool one is. Storytelling without the huge spectacle. The MCU has done well over the years by up'ing the bar and telling a range of stories and one-up'ing themselves to a point budgets are wild and the spectacle is very samey. I hope going forward they are able to reign this in and tell better stories. I love what the MCU has done and there has been a few misses here and there but they really need to dress back and focus on films like Ironman 1 and what made that great. I hope Sony learn this with Spidey 4 also.

Ariana grew up on broadway and was always in love with the idea of palying Galinda one day. Proud of how far shes come and glad to gear she knocked it out of the park. Can't wait to watch it Saturday!

I fucken loved what Kristian said about politics I used to watch KZbin reviewers all the time but despite I think Rocha is very smart I can’t stand him putting everything political and people like that put me off watching pundits it’s a shame I’ve always liked their stuff

Crazy to me that in late 2024 there are STILL people using WOKE in the comments here. Lighten up guys and rejoice in the glory of getting Stephen Miller back into the White House.

I initially thought they were 20 year too late with this. But then I realized that not everyone is from New York, like I am. So most people in the flyover states have never even heard of Wicked. But for me, I've been so inundated and overexposed by Wicked for the past 20 years, that I'm literally sick of it. But that's only because I'm from New York. But for people outside of the tristate area, this is the first they're learning of Wicked. Sorta like how in 10 years, when they make a movie of The Book of Mormon. New Yorkers would be sick of it. But lots of people outside New York have no idea what The Book of Mormon is. They think it's the mormon bible, and not a Broadway show.

I’m shocked at how much I liked it. The marketing gave me no hope, but what a movie. In complete agreement Ariana is the scene stealer and her comedic timing is perfect. Jon M Chu does a great job directing especially after In The Heights.

I just saw Wicked and I liked it a lot too and didn't love it. Not that it wasn't worth loving... parts of the movie I loved as it pertaining to the Wizard of Oz and how it came to be and mostly is that this movie was more about the musical and less about the book. But it's hard not to really like what they did here. The Emerald City and when they first show that it was like the greatest thing I've ever seen. So good! Couple cameos blew me away too so that was cool. Definitely and A movie though that's for sure.
