Garnet's Dagger of Resolve BSB deals Holy damage as well as Thunder which is why Asura doesn't absorb it and why I bought a Holy Imperil BSB and Cid Raines' BSB as my RW to take full advantage.
Water and Ice Resist accessories are essential in this fight. To be honest, I'm not sure which are more important.
DISCLAIMER: This is by far the hardest 220 Difficulty boss battle I've encountered and I had to spend one Mythril and luckily got the 10% Defense boost.
