I didn't like how after this came out people were complaining about how Gamora was being bitchy and rude. That was the whole point. She wasn't the same Gamora, she's not even the Gamora from Guardians 1. Also shows why Thanos really loved her, she was completely ruthless.

Plus she was constantly compared to and asked to be like her past-self, not just by Quill but practically those same audience members in a meta-sorta way. She managed to stay calm about it til eventually she had enough, I don’t blame her

She sorta was. She was the Gamora from right before Guardians 1. Like literally the same week. But what she didnt get was the oppurtunity to try and escape like Guardians 1 Gamora did. Because instead of taking the Stone to sell on Xandar it got intercepted and all the stuff with Endgame happened. So it really is an interesting look at a character. Because its almost the exact same starting point as Guardians 1 Gamora since she still does make the choice to leave Thanos but she makes that decision because of Nebula instead of being alone and doing it and then finding the Guardians. So she doesnt soften up as much because the Ravagers are not the Guardians. She finds friends and a sorta family with them but she develops very differently than she did with Peter and the rest.

I saw that and realized that she already made family with the ravagers that accepted her, but Quill and the rest of gotg doesn't really see it or know, they just know she's part of the space pirates, it was very sad but this isn't the Gamora we know and love from the past and that's okay as Quill finally realized it at the end. And I get why it can be so frustrating on her end, she never experience what our Gamora went through with the gotg and Co, but it was nice that she acknowledges it at the end she realized that it might've been fun being with them, but she already has a family she made with the ravagers and she's content with that :,)

Love the symbolism of Rocket choosing Creep - a 90's song - at the start. Almost the new millenium but not quite: Rocket has grown significantly but his past/identity still haunts him. Then in the end he picks a 2000's song 'Dog Days are Over' which is proudly the antithesis of that. James Gunn is a soundtrack master. Top 3 MCU for me.

As soon as I saw Rocket's little band of friends, I knew what was coming. After all, he doesn't have them in the future. But seeing how he got there was one of the most powerful emotional experiences in the MCU. I don't know that I've ever hated a villain quite so much as the High Evolutionary, even though others have done objectively worse things. "There is no God! That's why I stepped in!" is one of the most succinct motivation statements that I've ever heard. It's chilling. If GotGV3 doesn't win some awards, or at least get nominated for them, there is no justice in this world.

Guardians of the Galaxy Volume Three is still one of my favourite movies from phase five not only because of the story, but because we finally got to see Rocket’s tragic backstory and how he got his name. Fun fact, you may recognize Daniela Melchior, who starred in The Suicide Squad movie in 2021, plays the manager in GOTG 3, and Jennifer Holland, who starred in both The Suicide Squad and the Peacemaker TV series, plays the office administrator. And Linda Cardellini plays the new character Lylla, who’s Rocket’s love interest in the comics since Linda Cardellini was well known for her role as Hawkeye’s wife Laura.

Best Marvel movie ever and best film overall in a while. I don't think Nebula's growth is acknowledged enough. Was cold-hearted and literally robotic before and now she's like the group's older sister. Her dancing and smiling at the end is underrated (remember how she was dancing in the Holiday Special? Night and day). Saw an early screening where they also showed the first two films back-to-back before. 8 hours in a theatre, left at 2:30 AM, such a fun night. The Avengers were my favourite group, then the Agents of SHIELD took that place, and now the Guardians have it And side note: Did y'all watch that Guardians Inferno music video (from Guardians 2)? Somehow, I just discovered it only recently, after Guardians 3 already was out 😅 Best thing I didn't know I needed.

GOTG Vol 1 was my mom’s favorite comic book movie ever, sadly she passed away from cancer complications in 2015 at just 65 years old. What hooked her to the movie at first was the soundtrack of many of the songs she grew up on, but then she loved it so much that she became a fan of the MCU. It’s why this franchise has a very special place in my heart. So when Dog Days Are Over (ANOTHER favorite of mine and my mom’s) was playing and the Guardians were celebrating/moving on with their lives, I was a wreck. Not out of pain of loss, but of remembering the good times I had with my mom. As for the movie itself, it’s one of my top 10 favorite comic book movies ever, as well as an all time favorite. With a supervillain I have never wanted to kill more than The High Evolutionary. And I love that the song that was played to send off the Guardians Of The Galaxy was the first song we as the audience heard when we saw Peter in the opening titles of Vol 1. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m gonna go listen to Come And Get Your Love by Redbone!

An absolutely incredible movie, making me cry, laugh, just all the feels! And shines such an important light on how messed up any kind of abuse/exploitation of animals is. It makes me remember a really serious concept I either read in a book or heard somewhere online, where the author/host asked the question ‘Are you an animal lover or in reality just a pet lover?’ In other words the author/host is proposing a very self-reflective question of do u love and are compassionate to all animals or do u show love and compassion only to those animals society sees as pets

I loved all the music that was featured in all the Guardians of the Galaxy movies. The High Evolutionary is giving me Space Doctor Moreau vibes. Adam Warlock is Space Jesus in the comics. There is no doubt that High Evolutionary is one of the evil villains in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. As for me, this is a dark, frightening, and excellent film. Chukwudi Iwuji described High Evolutionary as "narcissistic, outrageous, but very charming. I can't think of a better character who uses his skills better to join the MCU. Because there's something very Shakespear about him, there's something very emotionally dark about him, and he's fun."

Nope. He didn't have his mask because it broke against his dad in the last movie. The writer's of Avengers f'd up by having him wear it in those movies.

When Drax had a moment fighting Warlock at the beginning I KNEW this would be my favorite guardians. THAT'S the Drax who was meant to beef with Thanos but got his arc replaced with Thor's (which was done very well for Thor but still)

The whole trilogy with Guardians has been great With so many Marvel movies and sometimes even the series not delivering as much hype as they once did it's endearing to see that Guardians delivered so much fun and coolness throughout its trilogy

I like how this movie carries the weight of Gamora's death from Infinity War. Yes a Gamora is in the movie, but she has no connection to the Guardians outside of Nebula and doesn't have the same relationship with them as the one who died. At the end, she leaves them once again. It hammers home that the Gamora we knew really is gone and isn't coming back. Unlike how the MCU handled Loki and Vision. Loki was given a PowerPoint of the main Loki's life and Vision literally had all his memories restored. Gamora didn't have any of that bs

Top 5 or even top 3 MCU movies out there, hands down! Everything was perfect. I really expected this movie to bring so much fun, emotions, action and it definetly was worth the wait and it had it all. I enjoyed every single minute of this movie. I liked Adam Warlock. I knew he was not gonna have much screen time, because here he's still a baby. He's not that powerful yet but i definetly can't wait to see more of Adam and his full power. He will most likely be one of the strongest when it comes to fight Kang.

You know I think you're the first reactors I've seen who didn't straight up laugh when Drax told Nebula "You didn't ask" if he knew the kids language. Like sure, that's exactly what Drax would say. But it also shows that he isn't all that stupid, and that the team maybe dismisses him far more often than they ought to, excluding Mantis for the most part.

It is theorized that the Sentence from Layla "The story has been yours all along..." means a lot more and that rocket will porbably have a very important role in the MCU. Hope that turns out true.

High Evolutionary, finally a vilain who is irredeemable and not a tragic character. We don't want to see a monster eugenist be redeem at the end, it would be weird. Great acting, a little over the top at moment but i think it was intentionnal.

Rocket’s backstory was possibly one of the saddest things I have ever seen throughout the MCU 😢😢😢 40:07 - 41:14 The fight scene with all the Guardians, was awesome. The fact that it was done in one take, was incredible. One of my favorite scenes in the movie, along with 38:03 Kraglin using Yondu’s arrow and 43:34 “The name’s Rocket. Rocket Raccoon.” 🔥🔥🔥🙌🙌🙌

That hallway scene is godly, best shot action in the MCU, such a sick shot scene and everybody got their own harass moments. That was the fuckin perfect team fight scene. This movie fuckin rules, James Gunn absolutely big time. Can’t wait for his next projects creature commmandos and Superman legacy the last 2 yrs, hoping he can turn DC around so marvel will have some well needed competition that’ll force them to raise the quality of their projects. Anyway I’m rambling but this music was truly the most perfect send off for this team and for James Gunn, seriously couldn’t have asked for more. What a sad emotional movie with great arcs for everyone and a stellar bittersweet but extremely satisfying ending. Truly the perfect trilogy ender so thanks James Gunn and co, for me best MCU movie since IW and a top 5 MCU movie in general, they knocked it our of the park. Hopefully James Gunn can consistently bring this kind of quality to DC, big loss for marvel too. I’m still hardcore rambling but man what a Fuckin movie
