There are some very justified reasons for protesting that have nothing to do with race or bigotry and everything to do with unsustainable levels of immigration, underaddressed crime, suppression of dissent against these failures, and the resentment that festers among the citizens when the government decides that believing in Western liberal values shouldn’t be a core criteria for gaining citizenship. I find it very hard to believe that none of the protesters were able to articulate these grievances.
