They claim that we’re taking their ‘jobs’. Which jobs are they talking about? Many of us had to study hard take countless exams to qualify for positions we were overqualified for. Many of us that were doctors had to come over here to retrain again and happily took on jobs as cleaners so that we could afford to live whilst we studied. My mother worked three jobs and my father who was a qualified chemical engineer worked as a security guard because he was racially abused when he worked as an engineer in the 80s. They love to blame us for taking things away from them but unfortunately we do not have that privilege.

I am a middle age doctor who works in the NHS, paying taxes and contributing to the economy. We make a TEAM of white, black, brown and etc etc but never have any trouble . We cherish each other. We look after each other and our patients are a mix bag too who are nice, kind and very gracious. I get white patients who would be gracious to the extent that they would say thank you that I am there to help them.
