Ben is absolutely spot on there. Guardiola doesn't tell Ronaldo to kick. That's because he has never managed him.

I think by the time Ben Davison is done we will speak about him in the same way as we did with other GOAT trainers like Manny Steward and Freddie Roach etc. It's incredible how young he is and how knowledgeable he is. He is so humble. I hope AJ stays with him. Ben is one of the best ones

AJ was smashed in the temple by Ruiz, watch the punch what dropped him. it was perfect. no one really has a GRANITE chin, all it takes it that one shot that switches your lights out. we seen it with the eubanks massive chins, but he eventually got dropped. aj can take a punch, hes a HW and been down twice in his whole career. he got right up from the drop he got from Wladimir Klitschko, got up and smashed him up.

Really interesting and good to see Queensbury taking an interest in AJ finally and doing something other that trying to tear him down. Matchroom and Queensberry working together makes for a power house in the boxing world.

Remember this comment. Ben Davison is the best man Joshua can have in his corner, he is incredibly knowledgeable and special. He is staying outside of the spotlight, but make no mistake he is a gem, will take Joshua back to the top.

Fury was off that night vs Ngannou. But it has to be said that Ngannou was defo a better boxer then everyone would of thought. So i dont think it will be too easy for AJ but i expect him to win by KO between 6 and 9

I think the reason why some ppl are 50/50 about Ben is cause he hasn’t had a fighter from scratch he’s took fighter who have already achieved notable wins and then trains then, not to say he’s not a good coach.

Ben knows Francis will gas if he is made to work not fight at his own pace. Aj will not come into this fight like he did Wallin (who never turned up any way) Aj will win it off the jab and make Francis work and gas then finish him off with a savage combination and become the best thing since slice bread again. He just needs to make sure he doesn't get clipped with the counter on the way out otherwise his career is over.

I think all this Ben link up is ashame, as Aj clearly works amazing with him but if fury beats Usyk and the Saudis call for Aj vs Fury, Ben has already said he won't train Aj for that fight out of respect for Fury....so then I dont think you'll get the best AJ, which means he will have less chance than I already think he does.

Stupid analogy. Elite footballers, even high level pros can’t be taught much more about how to kick a ball. Boxing coaches however can always teach boxers new techniques. Every fighter can learn more footwork, change the angle of a left hook (thumb down) etc. An elite boxer can go to a different camp and learn the Philly shell or be more offensive like the kronk style. I know he’s young and he wants to sound like he’s full of wisdom like Cus D’amato but it’s dumb.

Has anybody ever watched the Olympic final match where AJ won gold? ? He clearly lost. It was London) 2012. Davidson is a very good trainer in my opinion, but Aj is a hype train.. ngannou is his first live opponent since his beatings from usyk. He's on the crest of a hype wave again like he was from day one.
