Having watched Fury, Wilder and Joshua become the three headed monster over the past 3+ years, we now see that AJ was the one with the better record, was unified champion for longer, became 2 time unified champion and has actually adapted to different types of fighters, competition, tried different trainers and at this moment, he is closer to being a champion again and in his prime rather than Fury and Wilder who are really in the twilight of their careers and probably have about two MAJOR fights left between. It's crazy because I did not see it shaking out like this but that's what we're left with and now we see that AJ was the one with the better record, potential and pedigree all along, it was just the smoke screen of Wilder's explosive KOs (and in fairness to him, he was five years WBC champion with ten defenses although it was not the most elite competition) and bluster of Fury (who until recently had not defended the titles he won, like when he beat Wlad he struggled with success and the Wilder trilogy took something huge out of him). I am now interested to see if after the 2 Fury-Usyk fights and both might retire (which is possible) if AJ goes out and collects all the belts again. Good times for HW boxing in particular and boxing in general.

AJ is humble and likeable. As an MMA fan, I also like Francis, who is also humble in view of how far he's come. It's gonna be tough choosing who to root for on March 8th, and even tougher to predict who will win, because you don't sleep on Ngannou. He's extremely dangerous, but so is this version of AJ. It's gonna be a hell of a match. Boxing Gods, please let this fight and Fury Usyk be absolute barnburners!

I'm not surprised Ariel looks up to Louis Theroux, he has a very similar interview style. The way both gentlemen can dissarm the interviewee & make them feel comfortable, without ass-kissing, is a special talent. The best interviewers can ask the hard questions without causing discomfort. Great interview. I would love to see Ariel interview AJ in person.

The mistake AJ is making is that in Mike Tyson and Ali"s era, they were faced with the same love/hate relationship with the media and fans. But after retirement and people look back. Then they realise this people were legends and they get their flowers. AJ is a living legend and he got more love than Ali and Tyson. Movies shall be made about him. Then he will understand that he is as great as them.
