I hope we have a military parade here in the States this November, and I hope the United Kingdom will send the massed band to be in it. Nobody does this like the British!

Best i have ever seen the Household bands march,they have picked up the pace. Is this why? They usually slope on by.

Ricky: I would guess a recording illusion. The Guards as well as all Infantry units excepting the Rifles march at 120 paces per minute. Fullstop!

@@Peter-lm3ic If you time it, they are actually doing less than 120, This surprises me as they seem to be marching faster.

I think it's just that they are looking smarter, Instead of sloping, they are marching. I spent many hours marching in an army band where 120 was the absolute minimum.

Sorry, Second march is Birdcage walk. 3. 10., then Action Front. I think Bob Anderson may be right about the first march. I do not know it.
