Me and my fiancé lived there for a long time. We’d always walk through La Sexta and do our grocery shopping at the La Torre nearby. We were walking distance to the area from our apartment. Thank you for the video :)

Its Safe for the most part, just use common sense and avoid trouble with gangs/drugs. Much of the violence in Guatemala comes from Gang Violence, Drug related, bus bandits, with a mugging every now and then. Safe Trip!

I have a double sized passport. But, I only only have a few pages left. I need to pay to get more pages added to it again. I've seen some people where the government connects 2 passports together. I wouldn't mind that. It will look very impressive. :) I have another regular passport that is expired and I have an expired official use only passport.

In a bird's eye view, the same way you would notice next to no difference when you drive across the US Canada border, you would notice no difference driving across the Guatamelan Mexican border. If I move to Mexico, and I am forced to obtain the 6 month Visa, Guatemala looks like a nice place to go for the Visa run period.

I sped Summer's there sometimes and spend time with family (half Guatemalan) and if you use and manage money right, you can get in the really nice resort's and get really nice clothes! My family would be richer but we but we pay our bills and our family's, it's unfortunately full of more poor people☹

You better stay in colombia and costa rica, your coment about GUATEMALA is not like you really want to visit , lucky many spanish students are in love with my country and is endless fun in , two oceans, highlands, rain forest, beautyful ancient precolumbian cities, spanish era cities and a vibrant capital, , nice p[eople friendly and the most amazing markets and costumes , all that and more , but just for the ones are interested in Mayan culture, and central american geography and culture, delicious food and garifuna and latino in the same place, the capital of all central america for 3 centuries, one of the two best holly weeks [ easter] in the world, , the bigest mayan city in all mayan world, 33 volcanoes, and one of the most beautyful lakes around the world, that and more .

Dans Guatemala Ville, un grande nombre de parents ignorent les regles sur la circulation lorsque leurs enfants sont avec eux, et bon nombre de ces parents sont fonctionnaires. Au Guatemala, les jeunes meritent d'etre entoures de fonctionnaires responsables, consciencieux respectueux des lois; leur avenir en depend. Si nous doublons les amendes routieres dans les capitales, nous verrons apparaitre des rues et des adultes respectueux de la loi, ce qu'on attend depuis longtemps dans Guatemala Ville. L'Organization Mondiale de la Sante, Bureau de Securite Routiere estime que le respect des regles sur la circulation est souhaitable depuis longtemps, au Guatemala.

I don't think they do. I know in San Salvador they eat lots of American fast food. I do see lots of American fast food here, but not as much as San Salvador.

Y la idea de hacer ese mercado enterrado fue del marihuano Chino Lee, cuando desgraciadamente fue alcalde, no sólo es una construcción antiestética, pésima sino que también peligrosa, a la hora de un gran incendio, ¡qué van a ser esas personas para salir, y salvarse! si se hubiera hecho un edificio alto y de calidad, otro gallo hubiera cantado, y ese sótano hubiera quedado de parqueo, ya que hicieron ese gran hoyo.
