Was in school for the Navy in San Diego back in the summer of '92. Me and my buddies would go down to TJ almost every weekend. We had a favorite club that we went to called Tequila Sunrise. Partied pretty much until the early morning, usually catching the first trolly back to San Diego. Getting into TJ was a breeze back then, just walked across. Coming back was pretty easy as well just had to stand in line and then show my military ID and got waved right in.

So many of my friends and coworkers are concerned for me to move there. I feel I have no choice if I want to live in a civilized fashion as I'm currently living out of my van and have been for almost a year. I'm going there today to look at an apartment. I hope things work out for me. P.S. I've visited Los Algodones, MX, from the Yuma, AZ, and California areas and absolutely loved it. I'm hoping I get the same vibe walking around downtown TJ. If Mexico had the vision (they certainly have the money, especially if you count the cartels who low-key pull most of the economic and political strings these days), it could turn Tijuana into a MAJOR world-class gambling/entertainment center at least on par with Las Vegas up in Nevada or even Macau over in China if planned out right. And if it finally starts developing nearby Ensenada's port to 21st-century standards, Tijuana won't even have to rely primarily on San Diego and Los Angeles right across the border for most of their tourism revenue anymore. Oh, the possibilities...

@@hueso5071 depends. Cops are everywhere looking to shakedown innocent visitors.
