Y'all are troopers for driving to and back from Lake Atitlan. I'm Guatemalan and go every other year and the drives are what kills me lol. I feel so bad that boat dude did tax you guys. Hope you get to go back. Try heading towards our Caribbean coast to Puerto Barrios, Rio Dulce and or course Livingston. You will also be close to Tikal.

really really late but just in case you still don't know, 3:45 thats a water filter, it's really common to use it here since the water from the sink it's not clean enough to just drink it directly

it wasn't bad at all driving. The cobblestone roads in Antigua was the most annoying part about driving other than that, its wasn't that bad lol

Yes… I asked them if we could make it ourselves for the video and they said yes… but they usually make it for you and place it in the lava rock oven to prevent anyone from getting burned but they allowed me to! I was like ok!

That was a typo on my end that i notices after publishing the video. it's about $12- 13 UDS to hike the Papaya Volcano. NOT $100 lol

Was you able to do the hike without a tour guide? Am I able to just pop up or? Also was the pizza 50USD or 50Q?

You can go on the hike yourself. You dont need a tour guide but it's a good way to support the locals that depend on the money to support their families. There are tour guides at the bottom of the volcano. Also the pizza was $50 US. it was a lot but it was about the experience and it was delicious. My friend and I split the costs for the pizza.

yes i had no issues driving. The only downside is driving around in Antigua on the bumpy cobblestone was a bit annoying lol
