Because obsidian is the size of white diamond, all that is added to the night of alexandrite is the height of Steven, so obsidian is only slightly taller than alexandrite. I can prove this because Peridot says that in fusion the hight of the fusion is the combined hight of all of it’s components

1) Actually Gems of the same type are the same height or else they are considered for off-colors (like Amethyst and Carnelian, Padpardscha though is the same height than crystal gem Sapphire). So the Pearls are the same height and Quartzes, Rubies, Zircons etc. as well. 2) Sapphire is slightly taller than Ruby, not the opposite. 3) Rainbow Quartz 2.0 is only slightly taller than Pearl, and nowhere near the height of a Quartz Soldier 4) Bismuth and Rhodonite are around Garnet’s height, and Garnet is shorter than Rose Quartz who is the same height as other Quartz Soldiers. So Garnet, Rhodonite and Bismuth are shorter than Quartzes. 5) I don’t think Topaz fusion is near Opal’s height, but that’s just a feeling. 6) We have no idea how tall Emerald is. The rest looks okay.

Not necessarily Gems of the same type have exactly the same size, especially in the case of Rose Quartz, which was the transformation of a Diamond. I recommend reviewing the episodes where the Gems mentioned appear. I think you're right about Rainbow Quartz 2.0, maybe your positioning is wrong.

Guaxinim Fogueteiro Except as seen in Now We’re Only Falling Apart, Rose (shapeshifted) was the same height than the Amethyst Guards, she shapeshifted into a believable form, so she respected the same height rule. Amethysts and Jaspers are also the same height as seen in That Will Be All, so it’s safe to assume that all Quartz have the same height.

I had this recommended to me awhile ago, and while I really do like the idea of a gigantic obsidian and appreciate the work you put into this, I personally prefer to base obsidian's size off Steven's clothes on her hand because that's the design itself and less likely to be affected by the crazy bullcrap size consistency of the show - my strategy made obsidian a bit taller than alexandrite. I think the diamond mech (which is the main thing obsidian would be compared to, I bet-) might have a record for the most mileage in size inconsistency, lol.

That whole thing with White and Obsidian is actually really correct. Obsidian is HUGE. This is probably really accurate. In one scene we can see Connie in Obsidian's hand when she fell, and given that connie is about the same size, a little taller, than Steven. And seen here, Steven's head comes to the part where the heel meets the shoe of White Diamond. And Connie looked rather small in Obsidian's hand. The hand was a lot larger than Connie was. So, Obsidian's hand is BIGGER than White Diamond's foot. Therefore, Obsidian is larger than White Diamond. And probably this size as this shows. ALTHOUGH, Pink Diamond is not that small. She's probably half the size of Yellow and Blue, she's Sardonyx's size, at least. She's probably a little shorter than Malachite. Steven is 1/4 the size of Pink. So we know that 4 Stevens = Pink Diamond. And this is accurate. Because going back to what I said earlier, 4 Stevens is half of Blue and Yellow. And that comes up to be a little shorter than Sardonyx. So Pink is not that short. Meaning, Pink should be moved between Fluorite and Sardonyx. Other than that, this scale is really accurate. We saw when Blue came to Earth in 'Reunited' Alexandrite formed, and was the same size, if not taller than Blue Diamond.

I have a counter argument. When the diamond mech held blue and yellow in it’s hand, they seemed huge compared to the hand. If we are to assume that the hands are the approximate size of the feet, then you can see that obsidian is slightly taller than yellow and blue diamond. I gain this conclusion by noticing that obsidian is slightly taller than a foot of the diamond mech, therefor disproving your theory and showing that obsidian is around the size of white diamond. Further evidence is that peridot claims that when fusing, the height of a fusion is the combination of the heights of the fusion’s components. If you were to add the size of Steven to alexandrite then you would get a small height boost ( as all cross fusions do) and 1/8 of blue or yellow. All Alexandrite needed to be as y’all as white diamond is a small bit over two Stevens, because white diamond is about a fourth taller than yellow or blue. BOOM. Try to counteract.

Taking what you said from the "Obsidian is slightly taller than a foot of the Diamond Mech." When we see Obsidian compared to the Mech, the Mech is considerably closer to the camera than Obsidian. Meaning, that if we were to pan the camera around to if Obsidian and the Mech were at the same point. Obsidian would come up to about the half point of the Foreleg. And if we're to find the height of the Mech, it comes out to be approximately 792.48 meters (2,600 ft.) This conclusion comes from when we can see Pink's Leg's compared to the Lighthouse Cliff in 'Legs from Here to Homeworld.' Pink's ship is roughly two times the height of the Lighthouse Cliff. The size of the cliff can be determined by seeing how long it took Amethyst to fall off it in 'An Indirect Kiss,' when Amethyst fell off the cliff and cracked her gem. According to the time stamp, it took her 5 seconds, but I'm adding a second or two for the fact of, she didn't fall off of the highest point, nor did she actually hit the ground. So I extend the estimated total fall time to be 6 seconds from the edge of the cliff at it's highest point to the beach sand below. Ignoring any air resistance and or other external forces, the equation h = ut + (1/2)gt2 where, h = distance of travel by that body; u = starting velocity; t = time; g = gravitational acceleration; should help us determine the answer. The height of the cliff is 176.4 meters tall, or 579 feet. Doubling that size, Pink's ship would be 1,158 feet tall. To add a little bit more due to the edge of Pink's ship and the errors potentially caused by the distance from the cliff itself, I made Pink's ship anything under 1,300 feet tall. Using the 'Battle of Heart and Mind' promo video, it can be estimated that White Diamond's ship is either just as tall or slightly smaller than Pink's legs. This would mean that in order to find the max height, we merely need to double the size. Making the maximum possible height of the Mech 2,600 feet tall. And now to figure Obsidian's height. We would need to figure the size of the foreleg, and halve it. So, taking that the entire ship is 1,300 feet. In 'Legs from Here to Homeworld,' we see that the edge of the cliff, excluding the lighthouse, is to the knee of the Ship. Which is half the leg, so that'd be 650 ft. And then to figure Obsidian's height, take half of 650 and it comes out to be 325. So, Obsidian is approximately 325 feet. We know that White Diamond is about a head taller than Yellow and Blue. And in 'Change Your Mind,' Yellow and Blue are compared to the legs. We can see that the leg's knees are bent and that the leg's are also on a platform. If we were to move Yellow to the plat form and unbend the knees, Yellow would be slightly taller than the ankle of the legs. And taking that a head taller comes to about 2 in above the ankle on an average human. So, we can see that White is a third the height of the legs. And all we need to do is find out a third of 325. Making this easier and converting it to decimals, 1/3 comes out to be 0.33333... so, we can round this to 0.3 and give this an approximation result of 97.5 ft. And in this video, White Diamond is approximately a third of Obsidian's size. If we were to take three White Diamond's and Stack them, it would only be a third taller than Obsidian. Therefore, that is disproving your counter argument, and proving my original statement. And your statement of "When fusing, the height of a fusion is the combination of the heights of the fusion’s components." It's off on most of the fusions. While fusions such as Smoky Quartz, Sunstone, Rainbow Quartz, Garnet, the Ruby fusions, Stevonnie, and Lemon Jade prove this, others such as Sardonyx, Sugilite, Opal, Rainbow Quartz 2.0, Alexandrite, Malachite, and Obsidian disprove this.

Now that we know more... I find it funny how Pink is so small, but could quite easily, mop the floor with the next 10 to 12 gems ahead of her in size. They seriously made Pink HELLA over powered.
