This era will go down as groundbreaking, it is art infused with fashion. I’m sad to see where Gucci has gone after Alessandro Has left. It’s still nice, but lacks his genius touch that made it stand out and I’m not just talking logo items, I’m taking about entire looks and overall aesthetics.

Counterfeits started appearing as early as 2000. Counterfeits are graded as AAA, AA and A. I remember the seller even saying you can't tell the difference. They say the counterfeits are better in *jklux* quality than the real thing.

Whole show is like a head of a person who for first time watched a book "History of a Street Style - worldwide edition". Thanks to Gucci's colours and details it has a one note in this chaos. I appreciate the sentiment behind your comment, but to be fair, "it" clearly "was" because otherwise we would not have clothes that look like this. These forms exist now because they are a part of our fashion lexicon. Parasols and bellbottoms aren't a new phenomenon, and if they didn't occupy some beloved part of our collective memory they would not be marching down a Gucci runway right now. Please keep in mind the caveat that I have no idea how to personally dress myself.

Gucci is probably becoming the top designer brand they improve every season with new refreshing looks that remind me of the late Alexander Mcqueen and don't reuse the same look over and over again which some designer brands have been doing recently. Very cool.
