I have the small camera marmont and love it! Chanel is my fave but I use the Gucci all the time because I love how it feels and how lightweight it is. Gucci really has some great bags right now. Happy for you that you love this one!

I do love this style and I like the brushed gold feature ,however another KZbinr did mention 1 con and I would like to know if you have the same issue ,the top flap has quite a bit of a gap therefore it caused her to lose things such as lip glosses that would slip right through that opening ,I have been looking at the mini by Chanel I was looking at this one in the mini size any input would be appreciated thanks Amy best of luck with your new beauty !

Hi, I know this question is for Amy but I hope you don't mind my input. I've had this bag for a year now so think I can give my 2 cents. I see what you mean by the gap but I usually keep my lipsticks and smaller stuff (ear phones, pills etc) in my LV mini pochette. Some days if I don't want to carry my mini pochette I'll have my lipstick standing up in the bag so it wouldn't fall out so easily or maybe put the lipstick in front or back of the bag away from the gap at the sides? I personally haven't had any problems with the gap on the sides and found it's a pretty secure bag. I was also stuck between a Chanel mini and this bag, but came out with this bag because it looked better on me, it's half the price and it's easier to find in my country compared to a chanel mini. Hope this helps :) x

xchrissykisskissx I'm so glad you answered it's nice to hear from someone who's used it I felt that way honestly I never just throw pens or lipsticks or anything that can float around not in a mini pochette or some kind of pouch I'm looking to get this style in the leather because Chanel is just so expensive and they are having quality issues I am really loving what gucci is doing so I'm gonna go check it out in person thanks so much for the feedback more than one is always good thank again so much the price point is also such a difference thanks again

I haven't had any issues with things falling out of the gap, however, I also don't really carry lip pencils or many things that size such that they would fall out easily. I also think that because I do often use a little pouch for my odds and ends (as shown in the what fits in my bag portion of the video if you've missed it), that they are secure and have no chance of getting out.

I have the bag in black and turquoise and have not used them yet but think I'll love them. I bought them in part because they don't have much leather in them as I value velvet and other materials more. I try not to support the suffering of animals and the environmental impact of animal farming. Love your content but wanted to let you know some people value non-leather bags more for many reasons. I got them in the summer and think i have not worn them because it seems like a fall or winter bag. Also, I totally agree about the boy bag being boxy and harder to wear-I have the denim new medium and really have not worn it even though I love the look.

Hey Amy! I had asked you about the strap of this bag on my 5'1 frame and I went to the boutique and tried it on. It actually looked perfect! Like you said it worked fine:) I did not make the purchase yet because now I am tossed between leather and velvet LOL. After seeing your video the velvet looks amazing. But I originally wanted leather. What was your reason for choosing velvet? Also what do your think the wear will be in compariskn to leather? Sigh I just can't decide :( Thanks again!!

+Mimi Y I prefer the velvet because I think it looks more lux and special. The leather is great too but it looks too casual for my taste and I love how the velvet amped up the dressiness of it. I wouldn't have otherwise bought this bag, I really only liked it because of the velvet option. I have many other leather bags to use so I wanted to add something different ☺️
