I SOOO AGREE. I was NEVER into F1, thanks to Drive to Survive - mainly Daniel Riccardo and Gunther as well as Horner's shit stirring ways, sports suddenly become my new favourite version of the real house wives of Beverly hills but F1. DR and Gunther carried the series and definitely gave rise to the sports popularity for sure and both deserve more recognition upon their departure.

Gunther represents everything that is still good, just, and right in a world way off-track. I've spent over 45 years in the professional entertainment business, much of it overlapping with professional motorsports such as Indycar, IMSA, Supercross, & Motocross. I was also thinking about the dilemna with Colapinto - goes to show the teams should use their reserve drivers much more, bring them in off the bench, especially when a driver is in a slump, they could have already given Lawson several drives while Ricciardo sat on the bench. I hope Audi snap up Colapinto, let Bottas move on, he sure looks like he is ready to do something else. Meantime, I think Lawrence Stroll is trying to get Verstappen.

I agree, a team that is not fighting for the drivers' championship has no need to keep the same driver for the whole season, you can try the reserve driver for a couple of races and see where you really are, the constructors' points add up anyway. It's obvious that Williams waited too long, because we all thought that Alex was a really good driver in a bad car, and maybe he is, but they can't really know how good or bad Alex is if you have Latifi or Sargeant in the other car. Now this new guy has a couple of races under his belt and he almost matches Alex's pace, so... it makes you think about it.

If Danny had stayed at RBR with Max he may have been given the boot anyway, as he couldnt beat him, so by leaving for Renault he may have extended his career in F1, Some cars just dont suit some drivers natural style, proper champions learn how to adapt, not all drivers are capable of that.

I think you guys are giving too much credit to Lando. In my opinion he is not good enough to make the max amount of points and get 1st or even 2nd every single other race this season. Even with such a dominant car. I just don't see him being good enough yet. He is still not concentrating as if he was a rookie and the whole McLaren team already showed they might not simply force Oscar out of the way to help Lando win. I would not be surprised at all if they started to fight each other and had damage or even crashed or stuff like that. And so I don't really think Max will be forced to do 2nd in every race, simply because Lando will not force him by getting 1st place everywhere. We will see. If I am wrong (and I don't think there's a big chance I am wrong) I'll come here to admit about it, but if I'm right I will also come back here and say "I've told you".

Ricciardo when he left RB, I remember thinking, you're making a huge mistake here, leaving the best team and the best car on the grid for numerous years! Plus RB really wanted him to stay. That move destroyed his career and he never recovered. Even Horner said at the time, 'he's running from a fight' (with Max)

Getting Daniel back into Red Bull wasn't a Red Bull team decision, it was a Red Bull sponsor decision and Daniel should never have accepted the drive without about 6 months of intensive psychological therapy. He's good enough to be at the front of the field in a competitive car but his head's in the middle of the field where he doesn't have to try too hard.

I would love a video how awful RB’s strategy was and how this effected Danny’s performance. How many times did they start him on soft tires then bring him in early to the pit, their poor strategy really effected Danny and I think after awhile he just lost his motivation. Everyone is talking about how they sabotage Lewis at Singapore with softs when Danny was also on them. RB Seemed to only be aiming the BS at Danny. Now Lawson will be getting a new engine it just makes me mad and I think it would make a great video.
