I really really admire people who play a villain/antagonist character, especially the ones who pulled the character so remarkable that they irritate the audience unconsciously. My list are Heo Jun-ho (who plays Dae Mok in Ruler: Master of The Mask), Song Yoon Ah (who play Choi Yoo Jin in K2), and now Kim Seo Hyung. Their actings are so remarkable even the outstand the main character. You can not just pull that easily and it needs so much ahrder to make the character into shape. From this interview, I'm crying when heard about her struggle but I really support her in her acting career. She deserves more and more appreciation for her next project! Started watching sky castle today and realized that the exam coordinator is shin aeri from temptation of wife. Shin aeri really got on everyone's nerves back then 😅 yet I dont know that popular shin aeri's role brought her bad luck instead. I feel sorry for her. 걱정하지 마라요, 언니! Well, the portrayal of villain is different now than in the past. The trend relies on how to create a 'grey' and dynamic character. 'Good' doesnt mean good and 'bad' didn't mean they have to be totally ruthless without any ounce of sympathy given to them. I hope this change in taste will be a real turning point for her. I keep replaying the moment she wipe the smeared lipstick and when she say ' i love you' to her fan. WHAT A GIRL CRUSH. I have watched Skycastle and loved her, Currently watching Mine and I love her more there(she is amazingerrrrr there), and I am also Watching Nobody Knows. And I will watch the Whispering Corridors, the Villainess, and the Late Spring. People who didn't give her appropriate work for the past 10 years don't know what mistake they have done and what they have put her through. This is the problem in a male dominated society ; portraying a strong female character has always been disadventageous ,because most female characters are made keeping in mind, a timid-soft-character, which is bogus. Though it is changing, but it has to change more. And now its Really tiring for her to do only Serious Character roles and stuff, please give her something good and light hearted to do also. I bet, she will love experimenting.
