Excellent review!!! I just bought this fragrance after having noticed how good and beautiful it was. It is like a beautiful but not flasy girl you never looked at, but you realize her beauty is just reassuring and comforting. A truly beautiful scent.

Very nice perfume. I had to buy a bottle. It’s very unique. I can’t even describe it. I get woods first but then as I smell it more, it changes. This is really a masterpiece.

Great review Pep :) I've had a bottle of this for a while now but in the older bottle when it was called Encens Mythique d"Orient. This one does contain real Ambergris & I find it a little animalic as it dries down. The rose & aldehydic opening is beautiful & the incense eventually shows up but is quite subtle & more in the background I find. This one wasn't love at first sniff & took me quite a few wearings until I started to enjoy it, I think its a perfume that I need to find the perfect time to wear it so it can shine & I can get the most enjoyment out of it.

hello i have this collection too...encens mythique is deep sweet like encens clean composition like a bouda temple...very soothing sensation. the perfume outfit is great 10/12h. i love it

Wow! The way you describe this fragrance.. I could almost smell it.. I love it when a fragrance takes me on a journey... at times when Ill be wearing a fragrance and forget that Im wearing a fragrance and all of a sudden through out the day Im smelling something really pleasent and then wonder were its coming from.. and then realise that its the fragrance that Im wearing.. lol🤔😁🤗🤗

I loose this on myself BUT everyone around ne always compliments me on how good I smell. I think its mysterious and beautiful. It leans feminine but then again its perfect for men.

Which one are u reviewing? The cheap reformulated one in the black bottle or the one in the clear glass rectangular bottle? They are VERY different

Hi Elisabeth. As it happens, the sample I reviewed was from the older bottle, but i used the newer picture. A couple of people had indicated to me that there wasn't much difference if any, but clearly there must be for some.

Yes it's supposed to be the same thing, repackaged. Stretch is resting

Yes the same and Encens Mythique is strangely more pungent than EM D`Orient. Had them both and sold EM as I prefer less power from this most unique perfume.

I'm pretty sure they made the scents then stuck the corresponding names in to a hat and assigned them at random. To me, this smells like the colour of the bottle. Perfect for rain
